This space is reserved for tutorials I will complete in the near futureLenses1) Undercoat Black 2) 80:20 Black:White- Keep the paint thin and you only want a VERY small amount on your brush, apply around most of the lense but leave the top completely black 3) 70:30 Black:White- Again, keep it thin and you want to cover slightly less than the previous layer 4) 60:40 Black:White- Same again 5) 50:50 Black:White- Same again 6) 40:60 Black:Wite- Now you need to start getting a lot thinner, a steady hand is needed and patience. 7) Pure White- Add white lines to the top of each section, and VERY thin line to the bottom sections All done This is for clear Glass Lenses, you can change the colour as you see fit.

Hi This looks great. How would you transfer this to say paint the tips of lasguns where the lasers shoot out?

Hi, Chris.
Are we speaking to make it look like they're firing? If so that's a different thing really.

I paint them black, then do a black wash on it, on the bigger guns you can drybrush on some FW black powder on the tip of the barrels.
If you want to paint the tip as they were firing, then I would paint the tip dark red, red, red orange, then a red or orange wash, make sure it only apply to the aiming or assaulting guards, leave the at ease and other guard's gun tip black.
@ cosmic: very nice tutorial!

If that be the case Chris then you would just need to follow this process nut with red, however you wouldn't need as many steps. Just a dark red base, a lighter corner highlight and them a final dot of white. On a different note, I really need to do more tutorials.....

Yes, yes you do I do quite a lot of lenses in different colours, so next time I do some I'll put them up as examples if ebveryone wants. As Cosmic has stated though, it's simply a matter of changing the colours that you work with, as the technique stays the same.
