Hey All! I want to hear if any of you could make a "how to make knee-pads" in greenstuff tutorial. Very step for step, because I tried with two. And now I just want to throw the legs out. It might not be so bad, but it annoys the perfectionist in me. I would really appreciate if there was a kind being out there willing to do a very detailed (and full of picture) how to make those stupid knee-pads in greenstuff. Thanks in advanced!

Tell you what, I hassle people enough to do this, so I might as well do a tutorial. Give me until tommorow and I'll show you how to do the three I employ (circular, kasrkin-style and greave).

ive put kneepads on most of my troopers, in the crye presision trouser style...ie... no straps, part of the trouser itself... just a small blob of gs and rounded to make it look like a pad... RT, id like to see your tutorial , maybe improve my own.

just at work now, but it's easy, roll a ball of GS, apply it where the knee would be. now take a wet scalpel/blade/flat surface and shape the greenstuff into a "horizontal V-tent" shape, eg, make a flat surface on both the top and lowerside. when looking at the model from the side you should now see a very flat V. then simply repeat on the sides, while still maintaining the horizontal ridge. here's what the result looks like :
