Recently, I've been getting random painting urges, so I've decided to share them... This will probably be fairly irregular, but the pictures will be decent quality, even if the painting isn't my exact best So here is my newest thing... Skull champion ;D If you wan't other pictures off him I have them on my Photobucket account.

Cool, I like him. The posing is nice, I can imagine him saying "Com'ere you!". You may want to thin those metallic paints a little more, the gold on his crest is a little blobby.
How is the Dark Eldar army coming along?

Blood for the Blood God! He's looking good. The only things I would suggest is neating up the highlighting on the left knee pad, and it looks like you may have not completely painted the brass detail on the lower left greave. A wash of Badab black on the chains and the groin joints might be useful as well. I'm looking forward to seeing more!

Meh, My paint range isn't that large, thats the primary reason I'm painting my GGIV entry at a friends house, he has every citadel paint known to man...
I almost always have my little surges late at night, where I just let the paintbrush work... It is effective, the only better I can do is if I dedicate an entire day to one model (I've spent 2 working on my GGIV entry)
My DE has stalled, I need to basecoat with spray before I continue

I'm rather sad I'm not getting any hits with this.... oh well... So recently, I got a thousand son finished! With flash I rather like the effect I got on the tzeench symbol with glazing... Feedback would be lovely.... Oh yeah, here is my GGIV entry, that I didn't finish in time I had to use flash on some of these, otherwise they would be all shadowy. ;D

I like the thousand son Walrus, looks really dark and evil.
The stormtrooper is good too, I like the glasses. Have you left the backpack off on purpose?
I think with a bit of good basing these would be a decent set of miniatures.

Thanks guys, I actually limited myself to using foundation paints and washes on the Stormtrooper everywhere except for the lenses... Something I could improve on... Alot.
Coming up: What is generally bloodthirsty, loves killing/stealing skulls from Imperial champions, And commands a force of even more fanatical bloody lunatics?

Thanks for the love guys... No, shostak, Its not the Skulltaker... Its a Khornate Biker Lord! That was something I did earlier... I set up most all of the Models shown on this thread, And turned them into a diorama thing. If there is any interest I will show it. Moving on, here is some different views of the Lord: I did a little freehand on the screen... my reasoning being what Khornate thing wants to read? Also, the leather seat was giving me hell I painted it Tallarn Flesh, then literally attacked it with Ogryn flesh wash... I found a better picture of my thousand son, showing off my glazing attempt. I'm thinking about taking requests, and seeing how well I can use mainly washes and foundation paint to do them... otherwise, ciao for now ;D

Ouch dude, cancer sucks. That being said, I like the paint job that you've done on your past two models. Brother Negrus is a huge improvement from your first miniature. I especially like the way you used the brass color on his backpack and armor. The Khornate Biker Lord is characterful, the freehand on the screen is a nice touch.

I really like the white scripture on his armor. Kind of accentuating how he's the antithesis of the Space Marine, where we usually see black penned scripture on lighter colors.

Very nicely done! But I think you missed the metal bits on the brother Negrus' bolter strap-not that it matters.

Thanks, I'm going to have roughly 10 of these floating around eventually, all with the same style ;D Very nicely done! But I think you missed the metal bits on the brother Negrus' bolter strap-not that it matters. I actually have it done wit tin bitz, however I missed when highlighting so it is rather dark...
