I never thought a yellow and gray color scheme would work, but I rather like it. Nice job. You pulled off the stubble on the sergeant's face pretty well, too. What do you use on the bases?
Keep it up.

Thanks, the stubble, if you're wondering, is just codex gray mixed with dwarf flesh.
As for the bases, they're darkflesh, then overbrushed with blood red.
Thanks, again C&C welcome.

What colour of Grey did you use? The models look really well painted, but it's hard to tell the colours because of the lighting... it looks like a very blue-grey. Also the armour is an awsome tan yellow-ish colour

Yeah, sorry about the lighting. It's actually codex gray, with a badab black wash, more gray, then fortress gray. Maybe you can see it in the 3rd picture down.
More C&C pleez.

Okay yah I see the Grey in that one, I aslo agree with 88thcadian it does work quite well. Know how did you get that nice yellow, on the flak armour and such?

That? That's just a coat of Iyanden, then gryphonne sepia wash, then more Iyanden. The bleached bone highlights help to tone yellow down.
Thanks again everyone.

well done, a very unorthodox colour scheme on guard pulled off supremely well. loving the hard edging there, it really works with the yellow.

thank you, it's actually my first attempt at line highlighting. Glad to hear that my new scheme is making impressions.

You think? I know they aren't the best quality, but you know, I try ;D.
Sorry about the lack of new pictures, I've been involved with building a titan, and a lifesize bolt pistol. Watch for both threads.
