Which one? The standard bearer or the veteran?
And I still have all the templates, they just take a while... Rivets are a pain in the arse!

Both of them, but the standard bearer is my favourite. Are the gasmask heads and kilts reserved for specialist troops, or did the veteran just remove his?

Absolutely ace! I mean it, I love this stuff. The Great War has always been one of my chief interests, and it's one of my favorite classes to teach. This army is very very much in the spirit.
I must say though, some Glengarry's are needed, BEF style!
As for the tartan, it looks like a MacLeod.

Thanks for the comments, and right on for the tartan! The veteran just took his off. The rest of the veterans will be wearing gasmasks with Glengarrys, as soon as I get them in.  I am pretty happy with the Chimera, and despite how I did it, it could be done fairly easily. I had gotten one of the Basalisk formations thinking that I would kill two birds with one stone having Chimeras and towed Earthshaker artillery pieces and I forgot that the chimera rear hull section are not part of the primary sprues... doh. Oh well, easily remidied with enough plasticard1  |

Very nice conversion work dude. My friends always comment on how the design of Imperial tanks is world war one. You've managed to make them look even more like their from WWI.

WOW  Love them!!! this is how id want to do my next historical based army. may I suggest maybe green stuffing a stock for the weapon? even the WW1 shotguns Ive played with had stocks. but bang up job mate love them. but I must warn ya my Praetorians would have to mock you for wearing dresses its an English thing ;D |

Aww... After all that effort of taking the rear stock off of and you say it needs a rear stock? I patterned it after one of the trench style shotguns of the period which had a pistol grip for ease of trench sweeping. The Chimera is identical is size to the standard pattern chimera, the tracks just stick forward a little more. And they are KILTS! You just do not have the balls to wear em. They have been known to hold regiment wide grudges and rivalries for comments like that... |

This is Awesome ... Things like This REALLY brings out Character in an Army i think ... can't wait to see more ... and, I love the Chimera but is it just me or did it look like it was a much smaller version of a regular sized Chimera .. almost like it was a Hot wheels Chimera -lol-

hey bro if you've seen one like it from the period then power to ya  although having used a stock-less shotgun in combat I must say that at the end of the day my wrists wished I had a stock. trust me your hippy lovin, dress wearing, flower smelling sorry excuses for guardsmen will thank you later ;D is that enough of a slam for a regimental grudge? yours truly the guys in red with white pith helmets.... |

Commissarbob is right about the boots thing. Some of the guys of Scottish ancestry in my reenacting regiment do a 19th Century Black Watch (Including a real former member of said regiment) impression. Scary stuff.
