Nice change in scheme, look more urban themed now. That laser destroyer really adds personality too

Well the Bombard was despatched early this morning, so hopefully it'll be here Friday or Saturday........or maybe tomorrow if I'm exceptionally lucky!

Thanks Up UPDATEThe Bombard has arrived! ;D And there was a little surprise instore....   Interior detail is superb as ever...  I was just expecting them to send the two sides of a Leman Russ and then the Resin parts for the Bombard, but oh how I was wrong.....they send you a whole Leman Russ!! 2 Tanks for the price of 1!....sort of....  So I now have the main body and weapons of a Russ, all I need are 2 spare sides........anyone have any? ;D More updates tomorrow hopefully. Cosmic |

thas good to know about the full russ sprues.... that could save me some money if i buy the 'thunderer' and 'tank destroyer' models and have two spare hulls and turrets... hmmmm... turret emplacement? i think so!

Against FW...or me? I too was thinking of turning it into a turret emplacement, but then the thought of an actual tank is slowly beating it......can't decide!!! Here you go Trooper! I dry fitted most of it....  I had a bit of a problem with the sliding breach, it was VERY loose and didn't actually touch the top half, leaving a massive gap. So I attached 2 Brass strips to the bottom of the gun.....  To lift the sliding breach up a bit (as you can see either side of the slide)....  And hey presto!...  They kiss together nicely (illustrated with the thin red line) I've begun priming the individual parts so I can paint them all seperately and then build it later. Cosmic |

Double post of Doom!!! Next time it may be the Triple post of Terror! The Bombard has been sprayed Grey after a fight with my Airbrushes. They were being stubborn and wouldn't work properly!.....  Next up, a wash of Badab Black and then re-apply Codex Grey! Cosmic EDITStarted the front....   |

Thanks Trooper I've almost finished the right side....   I'm torn over the bottom weathering.....I like it, but I'm not sure of it will work well with the snow I'm going to add........snow would wash away any dust and dirt I believe.... |
