I just started going to the gym. I used to do cross country in high school (6 years ago), but all endurance is gone. This blog is a really nice reference point and it's cool to see another working to the same goal of getting into shape.

In all honesty and fairness I'm in shape now. Just getting rather bored with this thread. I will think of new ways to spice it all up.
Thanks for the response though Wraelis!

That fatass is me, although I can do a mile in around 15 if I push it. Leg inequality makes me a slow runner, but hell if I don't try when I want to.

Your offer is appreciated as always, but in this case I got it. I have a program for the standards I need to meet for this, I just need to start doing it (July 1st is officially when I start, but I'm already doing a bit now).

I was doing my workout this evening in the dark because sometimes it's invigorating to be in pitch black getting ready for the coming storm. Anyways, I'm doing my pushups when I feel something fall on my back. It's 90 degrees Fahrenheit in my house so needless to say I am sweating profusely. What falls on my back begins moving and without doubt I know this critter is living and has to be a scorpion no less. Does it stop my training regimen? fornicate no! I do no less than 47 reps with this scorpion on my back pooling around in my sweat. It drives me, taunts me by it's presence. I can almost feel it's manic 'want'. It's 'want' to be free of this new terrain. The liquid(my sweat), the changing landscape(my body moving ever up and ever down). What do I do when I'm done with the exercise you may ask. I crush the little bastard with my fist after it falls off. Standing up totally dismembered it's gravity.
So....Rook=169

I have been feeling very weird lately. It's like there is an unquenchable nova of power burning inside me. Yet I and I alone know it's there. No others can feel it or see it. I don't what to do about it. I feel that anything is within my grasp. Yes I know how stupid and unrealistic that sounds but it's, it's just *there* inside me and I can't shed it.
Let me say it another way; if there was a competition that creatures from all planets of the universe could attend to represent their races I think I would do very, very well. Yeah, weird I know.
I'm sure this feeling will pass.

Well, fornicate this two-week sojourn from lifting. Come to France they said. It'll be fun they said. Trading gym time and good friends for psychotic, quasi-abusive siblings is not "fun"! All the booze in the world does not make it fun.
