I've been doing an intense amount of cardio training recently, to prepare for the school sports carnival. I tend to run to techno, and have been using this. However, I just found this. EARGASM. I took my staffy/bull terrier running with this playing and puffed him out. Hey Walrus, check this tune out, starts slow, but as it progresses it gets pretty intense makes me want to get up and GO! I think you will find it to meet your running needs www.youtube.com/watch?v=dP7tkCN-lf8

Eh, I find it hard to be pumped by trance. I know some people love it, but it's not my thing.

I was personally surprised at how easily those two are suited to running.... There is another one bookmarked on my computer, I will have to post the link tomorrow morning before school.

You guys may like a group called "Lords of Acid". Some songs should truly have an R rating but hey...good stuff.

Today I'm taking off from the training regimen.
Also, meant to say this earlier, if you plan on getting fit DO NOT gauge your progress by your weight.
Weight is largely irrelevant. I don't care if I weigh 130lbs or 330lbs so long as I look good.
Second, I used to get discourage when I looked at the bathroom scale to see I had not lost a pound after 2 weeks training. No longer, the scale is in the trash.
I will gauge my progress by my belt size and the size of my gut. As such i need to purchase a tailors measuring tape(I think that's what those things are called).

Just got done with my training regimen. I did 12s tonight. I feel so good I believe I could get the One ring into Mordor all by myself.
*Opens a celebratory beer and readies his black light flashlight for some scorpion hunting in the backyard.
*Edit: I found 7 9 10 of those bastards. They are getting indoors too. Damn.

Real reason for Rook's desire for increased fitness: Challenge the scorpion king to a deathmatch for ownership of the house.

I bet my life's savings on Rook. Should he lose, I claim the rights to his genetic material.

Well, scorpions are arachnids, and they're untrustworthy. Rook might win the one on one, but the scorpion army won't abide by the terms of honorable combat, and will swarm him when it's all over. This is the reason for peak endurance.

Abs done!
3 scorpions seen, all 3 killed. They can't swim very well.
And I'm one of those guys who thinks honor is over rated. But train for the upcoming Scorpocalypse I shall!!

I was supposed to be going to the gym today to do my cardio of death, but a hyperextended my ankle :/ Went to jump and touch a roof at school but my foot rolle out from under me, and my entire 100 and something kilos came crashing down onto my sideways foot. My ankle hit the concrete hard enough to be audible, so it's understandable I have a bit of a limp.
To compensate, I'm going to destroy my upper body.

One walk, and my god but my arms ache. Five pressups, twenty pressups lite, looks like I'm definitely building strength. I was thinking that, actually, I must be considerably stronger than I was when I was 18. Back then, I could do somewhat fewer pressups, and happened to weigh considerably less [25 kilos less]. I could, however, do more squats and situps than now, but that's the consequence of an already-heavy framed guy getting lazy and fat.

Well done RT. Stay focused. Impetus. To be your age again...*sigh*
You should heal quickly Walrus. I have a bad right knee that I smashed between a pole and an electric pallet jack years ago. It hurts some days. I've never heard any part of my body 'pop' though. That would have been...disturbing.

Another walk and a few more pressups done - after the first two and a hearty meal, I'm only able to manage two basic and fifteen lite.

Killed 24 scorpions in total in only three nights. Wow.
Last night I performed 'savages'. I haven't really been counting how many I do. I just go until I tire and then do many more sets of those for 15 minutes. I may bump this up in 5 minute increments until I'm doing a half hour of them.
Tonight will be crunches and core regimen.
I'm excited and actually beginning to look slightly thinned.

Go man go!
Sprained ankle is healing well, I've been forcing it to submit to my indomitable willpower. Anyway, lots of running around at work. Plus, over my 6.5 hour shift, I lifted close to a metric tonne (spelling?).
