Looking good. Although it would be really nice to see some actual UN blue berets/helmets on these guys.

Ummm... wow. You just blew my mind. Amazing and beautiful army. Any idea how many points you have there? no idea, probably around 5k, maybe, as guard life is both cheap in pts and 40k universe. i plan to have a appoclypse battle in the near future vs my friends tyranids and dark eldar..

I really liked how you've spread out the Last Chancers. Amazing collection. Where do all these things go in your house?!

actually its only a 1 1/2 yrs of collection after 1 more yr of starting 40k with tau. I have sold off my fantasy Wood Elves to help finance it, and in the process of selling off my Vampire Counts too for a starter Ork Waaagh, maybe some Dark Eldar in the near future as well. They all go in my sabol army transport cases, no display cabinets atm.

Awesome work absolutely excellent. Do the Tallarn, Catachan and Cadian all have different fluff or is this a mixed regiment?
Secondly who is the joker guy ?

My IG is a PDF for a now Tau planet in the gulf, Tallarn patrols the desert, Catachan the forest, cadian the urban city, and vostroyans the mountain(though they've just been collected, none painted except the casulties). the joker is the penal custodian.

That's just intimidating, a whole army painted to a great standard.... with matching terrain!
You sir, are living the dream!

Ah, I see. I agree that the blue helmets look rather silly but the blue berets are really cool. Still looking good. Your vehicles could use some mud and dirt around the bottom though. Right now it looks like they haven't touched dirt at all.

the start of my vostroyan regiment, not so well so far as only the dead ones are painted so far.. egon: my tanks treads have a coat of dev mud wash and a badab black wash, the mud wash leave trails of light mud in the tracks. I haven't try to put the mud effect on the sides from FW powders, partly because I don't want to mess up my vehicles, partly due to my fluff "A soldier's hygene, vehicle maintainance is important to upkeep the unit's effectiveness.

Will pick up the corresponding (new) paints, thanks. It looks really good. I could probably do with the Khaki one anyway, would certainly make highlighting my Desert Yellow material much easier than 1:1 Desert Yellow and Bleached Bone!
