Hi quick question. My medusa siege guns are on a carriage, I was wondering if the could turn to face the enemy or whether after setup they had to stay in place. I know they are not barrage so that's why I'm hoping they can turn to engage the drop pods that keep landing in my deployment zone! Thanks in advance guys and gals.

Unless you have the requisite towing vehicle, unfortunately you are limited to the 45 degree firing arc to the front based on its set up position. Setting up immobile artillery takes careful planning and forethought. This is also a prime reason to keep some veterans or even some ogryn in your backfield as deterrent.

Hmmm, good question. From what I can see, you are not allowed to turn the models. However, they are not vehicles. This means that they are not restricted by vehicle shooting rules, including having to draw line of sight along the barrel and firing arcs, so there is nothing stopping the model from firing in any direction it wants to. The rules state that the range is measured from the barrel, nothing is mentioned about LoS.

Thanks guys. I think I'll take it up with my opponent before the game. I'll play which ever way they are comfortable with. I don't play competativly so shouldn't be a problem.

As you may know I field a Death Korps of Krieg force. I never take to the field without my reliable Earthshaker Cannons. Basically I always use them firing indirectly. I believe that I don't need line of sight to fire indirectly, therefore I can shoot at targets behind my lines. My friend thinks I should have to fire in a front arc. So I'm asking which approach is the right one?

It would be able to fire only in the front 45 degrees unless it was repositioned by a tow vehicle, in which case it would not be able to fire that turn.
