I have been playing in a local tournament with 4 games a month and after each month the points limit is increased with you only being able to add units and change one unit. I am the only AM/IG player in the tournament and as such I have represented us well making it to be ranked fourth out of 34 players. The leaders of the tournament have decided to, with the new codex, allow me a total rebuild of my list. This is the first list that is completely different to my original one. I will post my second list when I am done calculating the points cost. I have one weird rule with my army though. I have no Lemun Russ tanks and I plan to keep it that way.
List 1 is a aggressive list with me rushing across the board to get into the face of the enemy. I call it Operation Hello.
AS/IG
HQ: CCS Creed, x3 vets with grenade launchers, 1 vet with med pack, Caprice Armor, Chimera
Troops: Vet Squad, lasguns, Caprice Armor, x2 Plasma guns, Sgt with Bolter, Chimera. Vet Squad, lasguns, Caprice Armor, x2 Plasma guns, Sgt with Bolter, Chimera. Pretty cool list, I just have a few questions.
1. Why do you have creed? To me he seems great if you are going to be issueing a bunch of orders, however all your troops are on chimeras so they won't be able to receive any orders. Because of this I think it might be better off to just take a regular company commander.
2. Why all the boltguns? I know they are cheap now, but you can only fire two weapons out of your chimera now so the boltgun will just be points wasted sitting in there.
3. If you are in a chimera, do you need carapace armour? You already have an armoured coating of a chimera, is the extra points for a 4+ save worth it on the chance your vehicle pops?
4. I see you said missile launchers with flack on your sentinels, but there is no option to upgrade to flack missiles on sentinels. So either I hope you didn't pay for something thing you didn't need to, or you can't actually get.
5. If you can I'd suggest adding a multimelta to the devil dog. One melta blast I found was never reliable enough for my with the old codex. But that's only if you can find the points for it.

I take Creed for his orders and two warlord traits. They move flat out turn one and tern two move six inches and get out of their transports. Boltguns are cheap and I took them because I had the weird points value left. The carapace armor is because the vets will be getting out of the transports so they can frolic in the sunny fields. When I read the rules on sentinels it says they may take missile launchers and under the wargear list it says missile launchers "May also take flakk missiles.". Its not the devil dog its the banewolf with the chem cannon. I like to take them because people are confused by them. but once they taste the AP3 poisoned sludge that wounds anything with a toughness value they learn to run in fear.

That is a separate entry for a different profile of the same weapon. You have to go by the other one which just says take a missile launcher. No flakk except on HWT. I don't think Creed fits too well in your list. Since most of your guys are hiding in Chimeras they won't get orders as often. The warlord trait thing is nice, but not game winning. It is not a bad choice, I just think you could be built better to use him.
I think you would be better off taking another Veteran squad with Autocannon, sentries, and snipers and leave them as a back field objective holder.

Ok. list 2 is similar to what i was running previously in the tournament with the old codex.
HQ: CCS, x2 flamers, med pack, carapace armor, commander has boltpistol.
Troops: PLT: PCS: vox, Chimera IS: vox IS: vox
Vet Squad: x3 Grenade Launchers, Mortar, Boltgun Sgt, Forward Sentries
Fast Attack:
Scout Sentinel Squad: x3 Sentinels, x3 Missile Launchers
Scout Sentinel Squad: x3 Sentinels, x3 Missile Launchers
Heavy Support:
Basilisk
Basilisk
Tempestus Allies
HQ: TCS: x3 volley-guns, medpack
Troops: TSS: x2 Melta TSS: x2 Flamers
Fortification: Aegis Defense Line w/ Quad gun
Total 1500 pts
HQ sits with the quadgun giving orders to the HWT behind the aegis. IS combine and die with the PCS giving orders from the safety of armor. Vets sit back on objective and harass whatever they want. Sentinels Outflank and hit armor from the rear. Basilisk blow holes in the enemy's defense so stormies can drop in and have a tea party.
