Can anyone put me straight here.
Can we put a Command Squad and two Vet squads in a Stormlord. Then take an allied force of one Command Squad and one Vets Squad ... And shove them into the same Stormlord?
Now it's not that I don't trust anyone here but ... rather than just replying yes or no, Could you detail where it's written down that we can? Or can't.

OK - in the 7th ed rulebook on page 127, in the Allies section.
Under 'Battle Brothers' it says that they:
"- Can embark on each other's Transport vehicles."
As for the rest; you can embark more than one unit in a superheavy transport (eg a thunderhawk or a stormlord) but I don't have the current Apoc so can't help with the page reference on that.
I've seen how quickly superheavies (potentially) go down so do you really want to put all your eggs in one basket, so to speak? Is it not better to spread some of your stuff around? Also when they explode they kill EVERYTHING of yours nearby.. a lot harder than normal explosions. I've seen a shadowsword go supernova and it killed everything around it except a lucky Ork biker who had a 6++ smoke cover save. Leman Russes and Sentinels died in that explosion.
It's a better idea to get one and fill it with a couple of techpriests and 2 hwt squads with lascannons.
Edit - also NO! I don't know if you can ally IG with IG unless you've got a different codex. e.g. IG allied with FW Elysian drop troops

That Shadowsword incident sounds hilarious, I'd have paid money to see that !!!
I'm just exploring options with the Stormlord to be honest.
I have three of them and I think it would be great to see all three advancing onto a gunline. Is there anyway I can have 3 lords of War in a normal game? Don't know why I asked that ... I know I can't.

It wasn't funny because the 2 Ork Stompaz killed absolutely everything...
Actually you can take lots of superheavies but its not an 'Allies' thing , it's a 'combined arms detachment'.
You can take a 'Lord of War' per every hq and 2 troops choices. A lord of war can be a superheavy tank or rock-hard character (Ghagzkull/ Logan Grimnar/ Bjorn/ Mephiston), and to keep the hq and troops cheap you can take ccs and veterans. Infantry platoons will be too many points.
2 Stormlords sounds about 'normal' game sized, together with the minimum requirements and some well thought out HS choice/ Vendetta that should round you out at 1500 - 1750 points. The only thing is it'll be pretty much an Apoc game, not a 'normal' game... plus if you're bringing that many superheavies your opponent will HAVE to go anti-tank weapon crazy.
As an aside myself, Empty and Tread are considering house-ruling the old FOC system, for 7th, just to avoid precisely this sort of thing. We're fans of the old FOC system as it was quite well balanced. So don't expect everyone to like the 'combined arms' multiple force roster new system, as it can, potentially lead to one dimensional armies - like very artillery heavy or flyer heavy. And the only way to counter some of these is to tailor your list for them.
2 stormlords against a flyer heavy army could be quite fun; you'll need 6s to hit a zooming flyer but the main gun on a stormlord shoots soooooo many shots that I'm sure some flyers will go down. If its stationary it shoots TWICE!! You could even get a LR Punisher/ Exterminator to help mop up any Orkish infantry/ other threats that get near your Stormlords. If any infantry with krak grenades or sgts with meltabombs charge your superheavies and they were stationary then they're pretty much dead... Ditto Ork nobz/ warbosses with power klaws.

The bridge... It's a miracle the Imperial Commanders in question aren't in chains on a Penal world, after that debacle..
