One of the great things about the Imperial Guard is that they come from a million different worlds. Each regiment is shaped by the culture, technology, tactics and local conditions of its homeworld, creating a fantastic variety of different military forces which are all considered part of the Imperial Guard. Unfortunately, when you actually see Imperial Guard on the gaming table, 90% of them are plastic Cadians. Even armies that use a different range of infantry models still use the same Chimeras and Leman Russes as everyone else. What about the thousands of planets that have their own local vehicles and don't build Chimeras? Back when I started my Imperial Guard collection in 4th Edition, GW was still highly successful at terrorizing anyone who dared to make a "compatible" miniature, and you could still be kicked out of a Rogue Trader tournament for having non-GW miniatures. You could do head swaps and doll up your vehicles with accessories, but not much else. Well, when I returned to 40K earlier this year, I found the landscape had changed. There are no more GW tournaments, and people are making "compatible" miniatures left and right. So, I decided to give my new Imperial Guard a bit more local flair by using alternate models for their vehicles. I know, TL;DR. Short version: Rhebok Transports by Ramshackle Games. shop.ramshacklegames.co.uk/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=6&products_id=461The Rhebok is taller and wider than the Chimera, but not as long. This is the full contents of one of the original Kickstarter Rheboks.

Weapons and dozer blade are magnetized. They need some detail work but they are more-or-less finished. I have a couple of flame tanks as well as the usual APCs, since I do like Hellhounds. Also shown: I decided to give my Grenadiers vox casters by making the antennas out of little magnets. Easy to remove if not needed for WYSIWYG purposes, though I'm still uncertain how well primer will stick to the nickle coating of the magnets.

Thats an interesting range. I'll cetainly have a look later.
I personally think the Carrier compartment probably needs a little extending to loo right, but thats just me.

There was an extended version of the infantry compartment available during the kickstarter, but it hung out over the back of the treads, which I didn't think was a good look. You can see from the exploded view that it would be a simple matter to insert a bit of extra length in-between the two hull sections to make it whatever length looks good.
I should mention that, unlike Forge World resin parts, which are detailed on all sides and fit together more-or-less neatly for gluing, these require some handyman skills. All of the molds are open on the bottom/back and need to be sanded down while wearing a dust mask. Some parts are crooked or short-shot on the back. Some parts may be warped and need straightening with hot water. Some pieces that should be exactly the same width (like the front and back sections of the hull) are different sizes. And you get to decide the exact alignment of the parts, since they're just flat slabs of resin that don't interlock. You could make the whole thing sit much higher up on the treads than I did, or further forward or back.

Would consider one for my renegades if I hadn't gone with a motorized theme.

These are very cool. I wonder how someone might convert them to be 50% Games Workshop products, so that they are tournament or escalation legal? Not that most local game stores care, however, the way GW is treating their customers these days (meaning, very well unlike the past) we could see a return of events like Games Day. I wouldn't want to miss out on it, just because I have a very customized regiment

It looks a bit like a chimera and a rockgrinder had a baby Maybe you can mix it with some artillery kits? Put chimera/IG track-units on the side of the rhebok, and the rhebok tracks/wheels on the side of a wyvern/manticore/etc hull?
