Me and some friends are doing an escalation-style mini-tournament starting January. We will play battle ranging from 1000 to 2500 points. Since I'm bored and I also want the chance to playtest some before we start I've played around with what my final 2500-point list could be.
First option 2499 pts.

The plan for the first version is to let the Demigryphs and the ICK Death Star take the enemy in the flank (preferebly in turn two or three after the cannon has softened up the enemy). The pistoliers will go after warmachines and/or disturb marches and the Infantry will advance in the center protected/buffed by the wizard and Witch Hunter.
With the second version I'll basically just advance everything with the ICK and the Demigryphs on one flank and the Steamtank on the other while the Pistoliers and the Captasus goes of hunting warmachines and harass the enemy. Meanwhile the buffed infantry will charge down the center.
Which list would be the most effective? I was surprised to find out that Stanks are so expensive, comp-wise, but at the same time I think an ICK deathstar with a Grandmaster, Ludwig and Luthor would be worse (and more efficient). The other players will be Wood Elves, Dark Elves, Skaven and perhaps Vampire Counts (if that player joins us). I'm not sure if VHS will be of any use but I would like to have it there as a nasty surprise. What do you guys think?
