Those new yorker* bagels are so good.
*It's the filling choice that makes them delicious, I'm aware that you can't actually get an above average bagel in the UK. (And don't get me started on pretzels)

All this food chat is making me hungry. In my opinion you can't beat a Bacon Banjo. There is the ongoing debate as to whether ketchup or brown sauce should be used. Personally, if you get the egg component right you don't need sauce. Lightly dust with pepper.

But to get back on topic. Fluff wise you can organise your stories as you like. But who knows what the new codex and FOC choices has in store for us. I've got a couple of hundred Kasrkin that I'd like to field in one big hit.

You can field them perfectly fine in 7th with the MT codex. I just find stormies too expensive in pts to field as an army unto itself. Mine were originally just a platoon of 2 squads for my chem dogs but when the Gathering Storm I - fall of Cadia- hit all I needed was a MT command squad to field Castellans of the Imperium formation. The formation allows you to field 2 or more different codex Imperial units (allies of guard, marines, sisters or stormies) into the same army and recycle dead troop squads (guard or stormies in my case) on a 5+
In terms of play Stormies offer good drop troop options, allowing you to put meltaguns where they matter. Combined with the random Warp Storm charts from the same book, you've a great chance of rolling 'Warp Tunnel' which allows infantry on foot to teleport instantly almost anywhere you want them, as long as they aren't in a transport. The main reason I prefer regular Infantry squads are the lascannon teams. Genestealer cult have another cool option; mining heavy weapons. Mining lasers are 24" lascannons in the hands of a 3rd gen hybrid.
