And you can't put them in a Trukk? So the Wagons are the only options?

they can ride in a trukk, but they cannot take one as a deticated transport, so you if you want to let them ride in a trukk they have to switch places with a boyz squad or nob squad, which can only happen after the game begins.

They can however ride in a Heavy Support Battlewagon, and even start inside it.
Also, I think the Tankbusta rule on shooting only at vehicle's applies only if the vehicles are in range. If there are no vehicles in range, they can choose another target.

That sounds a little more worthwhile to me. =) Of course, you want them to be popping tanks and such, but if they Can't- sure is a waste of points to have them sitting on the table.

If they have line of sight they must take the shot at the tank...even if they are not within range.
but you are free to move them however you want in the movement phase, the rule only applies to them in the shooting and assault phase.

Really, I thought if there were no vehicles in range you could change targets.
Oh well, you can still pop them in a Wagon with quad Rokkit's and watch the fireworks go off.

Yeah...so a trick you can do is have then get out of their battlewagon on a side where it blocks LOS to an enemy vehicle and then have them open up on hat juicy tac squad sitting on the objective.

Mmmmmmm...dead Tac Marines...
And if you're in range, you can always assault after shooting those Assault Rokkits!

Yep, and still get 3 attacks and furious charge in the first round, yay orks!

you'd think 12 rokkits would hit something... usually they don't.

Take a couple of relatively solidly constructed (i.e. LoS blocking) buggies along with the Tankbustaz as well. Between those and a Looted Wagon, you can generally manipulate your LoS so that you can shoot whatever you want.
That said, there are plenty of times that you do want them opening up on Vehicles anyhow. They're great for cracking open Rhinos and Chimeras and stuff.

From what I understand, Tank Huntaz are able to shoot at pretty much anything. They only have 2 restrictions:
They must always Move/Run towards the nearest visible tank.
They must always attempt to assault the nearest visible tank, or fail trying. This means they could be standing next to a Guard squad and couldn't do anything since they're too interested in 'krumpin' dat whirlygig'.
Battlewagenz are delivery systems for your Elite squads-
Burnaz (for Nid/Guard, possibly Dark/Eldar) Nob Squads w/ Warboss attached (just to be an ass) Mega Armored Nobz (very popular choice, and attaching Ghazgkull will earn you the undying hate of your enemy)
Alternatively, they can be used as mobile fire bases for
Tank Bustaz (with tonz of Rokkitz for AT rape) Flash Gitz (with tonz of ZZap gunz to be hell for MEQ armies)
I've never played Orks, but I play against them frequently. My opponent always placed his Burnaz in a Looted Wagen, but it never makes it. If he placed them in a Battlewagen, I guarantee they'd get there sooner or later.

Not so, NobleWolves. They have no Restrictions on how they Move/Run, but must Shoot/Assault a Vehicle if there is one in their Line of Sight, regardless of distance. I've got the Dex right here.
