The great devourer's are what i dislike the most...since i play an infantry company...my only hope is using anti-T guns and a lotta heavy bolters...but since the hormagaunts can fleet of foot...they get to my lines pretty fast so i havta get into cc with my regulars, then once my platoons are tied up in combat....the bigger nids start coming in...Ahhh the horror!

Anti tank weapons against nids? no....you need ordnance weapons, pummel them with mortars and such.

wut about them monstrous creatures!!....i think mortars are useless agenst nids....theyr too fast, before u know it...theyre at ure battle lines....unless....u get first turn advantage....thats the only good thing...but yeah....infiltrating genestealers are another thing...but yeah could use a bit of ordnance =D

good tactic 4 fighting green skins and t's: put down as much blast markers as u can. u will slaughter them because their hordes always have to be packed together!

Worst enemy I met was an old list Death Wing army. Not that new and weak ones... I'm talking about the ones where you faced loads of 5man termie squads with 2 assault cannons per squad. After the new rules something like that is close to impossible as you need bigger squads to field 2 assault cannons per squad

I think Tyranids are a pain in the petilla. They out number me all the time with weeny gaunts and my lascannons can only inflict one wound a shot and i cant cripple the monstorous creatures unless I flatout kill them. Against tau i do pretty good, I jus load up on anti-tank Hvy weapons and hide in cover with cammeleoline adn go heavy on the infantry platoons instead of tooling up my tanks

tyranids sure are a pain! they're adept at closing the distance quick and sacking you in melee. the little bugs really arent that impressive, but they allow the big bugs to close in and just lay waste to whatever the gaunts are tying up. it's disturbing! whenever I get locked into melee with 'nids, I throw everything I've got at breaking out of that melee asap. hit the gaunts or rippers with every squad in the neighborhood and pull out completely with whatever is on the outskirts of 'the devastation zone' to reposition and prepare for when the bugs break thru. it's messy business, fighting the 'nids.

I hate any enemy! They are all trouble! But most hated? The Chaos space marines, they are so bloody tough to take out, tyranids are crazy, the gaunts are just freakin terrible, but the hordes are easy to take out, just use a few chimeras as mobile pill boxes and set up a firing line with troopers, smoke em!

nids are one of the most fun armies to play in my opinion!
they are a mob army for the most part, and i have 3 pie plates and 3 hellhounds most of the time, so i think you get the drift....

LoL, yeah. One pie plate is enough though, bolters help too.

1 is very nice, but i play alot of 1500+ points, against orks none the less (more mobs for me to blow up) so i run 2 battle tanks and a basilisk, and i have to say those can throw out major damage. Although one may be enough, 3 is always more fun ;D

i went to the school club on thursday and we played a 3 way game my IG v TUA v SM'S. me and the tua guy decided to gang up on the SM'S. but i decided to fire at the tua. after that he got p**sed off and in 1 turn of shooting reduced a full squad of 10 shock troopers to 2 men (bloody AP weapons)!!!! but he forgave me and we went for the SM'S. the space marines dready started marching towards me. thankfully my command squad meltagun kept rolling glancing hits and i kept rolling crew stunned!!!!!!!! it kept it from shreading up my troopers in CC. the tua kroot squad was in trouble (in CC with assault marines) i went to help out but by the time i got there it was down to 1 kroot. i managed to shoot the assault marines to bits (once the kroot wern't in base contact with the SM'S). by then it was time for me to go home (it was about 5:25pm) so the tua player won (because he had the most troops left on the table at the end of the game. also on wednsday i went to by some more IG. i got: a cadian command squad a leeman russ battle tank another 20 shock troops the novel fifteen hours

yep. the novel 15 hours is good. it's about an individual guardsman called arvin larn, who is fighting on a planet where the average lifespan of a guardsman is 15 hours, fighting against hoards of orks. the prolouge has larn lying wounded in no mans land, he doesn't dare call for help as the orks might hear him. tragicly he dies of his wounds in the end. but he dies smiling because he managed to survive for more than fifteen hours. brilliant novel.

Sounds intense. I generally dislike playing %&$# Necrons, as a phalanx is impossible to destroy! With a ressurection orb and monolith, they are immune to instant death AND they get two trys to get back up on a 4+!!! ARRGGHHHH! You can battle cannon 'em and they get back up! )
