This table looks awesome. I like the lava and the craters do not look so “unfinished” after your conversion. Nice job! By the way: Happy Birthday! -Magg

Cheers guys! And I already have my next scenery based foray constructed and awaiting base coating. It's something for my guardsmen to cower behind bravely defend

if you are after 'niddy terrain pieces/ideas, i saw one on TTH the other day that looked really cool, the creator had used nut shell (the ones that usually come apart in two pieces, not sure what they are as i am no nut professor) to create an awesome 'nid egg, with a gaunt head poking out, slime and other questionable substances abound. i will try and find the URL to that page for you

Yes, I have lots of pistachio nuts lurking around. THey are my nut of choice. I am a member of TTH, although now mostly a lurker, as there seems to bee 100+ posts a day of the same thing by different people. Theres only so many badly converted tervigons I can look at.... A link would be awesome though, thankyou!

Ah Im glad you enjoyed them! I did them for my own amusement really Thanks Kreigeirk, the bugs haven't recieved much love recently, mostly due to the fact that I have 2k fully painted, so I dont have much incentive to get other fun things painted up as I can just pick up the case they live in and go! I think there's a long dead thread somewhere though, possibly in the painting bit, with them all on

I had collected a small Nid army back in 3rd edition when they were a fairly new concept and their rules were kind of iffy. Needless to say, they weren't an army for a newbie. But in recent editions the model's have started looking fantastic and I love them all over again, but alas... i need to save my penny's for my current project

MOAR NECRO! I've been doing my terrain slowly, and thought I'd add some pics of the Shrine. I'm going to add a bit more graffiti and poster to the blank panel, and vert de gris the bits I've missed. There's another corner to accompany this, although it doesn't have any fun stuff on it yet. It's too big! I need more paper! Yes, that is a 90's dancing flower lurking in the background.... Why so big? Defensor Fedei will need cover saves when it's done

Fan-bloody-tastic! The graffiti is spot on, I can imagine some naughty guardsmen doing it whilst he's supposed to be shooting xenos The lamps too look so good, Have you tried using oil paints? The Blue Verdigris is as usual a nice touch, however unlike your Orks, this seems a bit too strong. Oil paints blended with White Spirit would work better.

It does look a lot 'harsher' in the pictures than in real life, I think it's because I had to adjust the brightness. I might have a go with the oils though, I'm pretty sure I've got a good amount in a box somewhere. Thanks for the feedback
