Is Boss Zagstruck able to deep strike right into an assault by actually LANDING on the unit or does he still suffer the deep strike mishap like anyone else?
I was told by an ork player I know that Zagstruck just assaults if he lands on an enemy unit, and I can't seem to find this in the Ork codex. Perhaps I am missing something, or he just lied?

His ability only grants him the ability to assault after deepstrike, not to deepstrike directly into assault. If he lands on your unit (or the combat at all, which is impassable for any unit not in the combat), then he takes that Mishap test. Reds

Yeah, kinda thought that was stupid. Well, give him the benifit on the doubt at least. I can understand why he might make the mistake, especially if he's new to Orks. Reds

Yeah, he's not new. This isn't the first time I've caught him doing something like this, either. Although I don't think he's doing it intentionally, he needs to read his codex.
Thanks for your help Reds, I really appreciate it. Zagstruck isn't quite so retardedly broken now, and I'm actually quite cool with him.
