GW are lying to us.
They say the tanks are produced on Mars, not in Nottingham.

The manticore is the only HS choice I regularly field. In a shock assault division... It's that awesome.

I spy plasma side sponsons, a twin-linked autocannon turret and the nova cannon thingy, possibly.

The battle tank turret looks quite small.

Eradicator nova cannon - pretty much the hallhammer cannon (as expected).
Clever use of parts to make the battlecannon/vanquisher cannon.
Exterminator autocannons - thought they'd be converting the old metal version to plastic... but somehow I still prefer my version.
Still waiting to hear/see the rumoured manticore though - that'll be the exciting bit for me...

that barrel looks to short compared to the forgeworld ones.
but pictures can be misleading.

Looks like both the battlecannon and vanquisher cannon both use an extra part (about the length of the battlecannon peice) at the join between the turret and the cannon. So the battlecannon would be almost twice as long as pictured (normal battlecannon length) and the vanquisher (the part that looks like a full battlecannon) would be extended by this part to make the extra long cannon.

Doesn't look very interchangeable like the demolisher. I Guess I'll need to use magnets.

They just have longer barrels on Gryphonne.

Could well be a different forgeworld that this model is supposed to be from - like with the Baneblade. I feel your pain though regarding wanting them to look the same, but variety is apparently the spice of life... Maybe you could get one more of the forgeworld ones (to make a full platoon of identicle tanks) then get three of these new ones (for a second platoon of tanks) which have been added to your force as reinforcements when they moved to a new warzone? You'd also be well on your way to a Tank Company then

so - more confirmation of the Manticore then (glad my source is continuing to prove to be reliable ). But Melissia... please tell me it isn't so... not a Deathstrike model?

Alas... I have witnessed it with mine own eyes now... (terrible looking model for the actual missile...)... I feel another dream has died...
having said all this, using the model as a basis and designing ones own missile to go on top would probably avert the Heresy... but then you may as well just get a Chimera and do the same...
At least the Manticore is reasonably nice... could have been better, but it'll pass...

You'd also be well on your way to a Tank Company then well maybe if i am lucky i can get me hands on the store copy of the kit and find out for sure. also i don't need anymore Russ's because i already own the apok tank box and the only reason i own 3 of the new demolishers is because 2 where free due to a incompetent delivery person. i must be the only person that likes both versions of the manticore and deathstrike kits. and no one else has talked about the pask mini and the Eldar support platforms?

I like both. I'm contemplating getting three manticores for my army simply because I like the idea of 12-36 S10 large blasts in a single turn.

They're making a Manticore? That's the best news I've heard in a while, definitely need to get one some day. Lovely tank.

The Manticore looks alright, but the Deathstrike is just... pants. Definitely buying one (at some point...) but will be making my own missile, most likely.
