Another question about Tau: When I shoot a stealth suit team (with stealth field generator) with barrage weapons (like mortars or a Basilisk) do i 've to check for spotting distance? Or I only roll and aditional D6 for scatter? (Tau codex pag. 27) In night fighting (core rulebook, pag. 95), I only have to roll and aditional D6 for scatter, because i can shoot in the dark, but isnt clear in the Tau Rulebook. What do you think?

An enemy scanning beam impacts the surface. The stealth field temporarily traps the incoming photon or EM field, then the on board computer system calculates the incoming vector and releases the photon or EM field in the opposite direction. If there is any processing delay that occurs due to this process, the computer system can utilize the stealth field in a way that "speeds up" the outgoing photon or field to catch up to its brothers that did not impact the surface. If there are any objects behind the cloaked vessel, returns from the object on the other side will return complete, as if there were nothing but open space between the enemy and the far object. __________________________________ HDMI Cable | HDMI Cables

Well, stealth field generators are similar to night fighting, but stealth field generator is a diffrent rule set, no rules affecting night fighting have an effect
