I like it. better than my idea of putting the aegis autocannons as-is in the back of an old griffon that I have lost the mortar for.

It looks pretty good, though for a realism detail you may wish to either add an optical site or a radar unit for aiming. Other than that I think the conversion is off to a good start.

I think the main bodies of the autocannons could look a bit chunkier, and maybe closer to the turret, but apart from that, it looks great!

I think it's great! You've inspired me to make something VERY similar with the extra bits I have from making my fortress of arrogance. Thread to come soon...

What Happy Orange said, although that'd only be if I was being fussy. I think it looks very cool otherwise

That's looking very promising - nice work!
Though I would advocate commissarbob's advice of a radar/optical sight.
Looking forward to seeing more progress!

thanks for the comments guys, couldn't find a way to beef up the guns but i still like the way it's turning out here's an update anyway Ive still got to add stuff to the top of the turret ( sensors, aerial and a few other bits ), the main part needs some more bits and pieces on it, and a load of rivets in the plastic card, but should be finished in the next few days for some strange reason the search light in the pics looks bad, but on the model it looks fine and with a little bit of work, brass rod and some plastic card the guns move

The searchlight does look a little off and can't decide why. I think mayhap I would have attached a searchlight on either side pointing the same way as the guns so it would have illuminated where you were shooting. I really want a Hydra but wish I could find some guns that look beefier than these! Maybe I'll have to cruise the GI Joe section at Walmart?
Can't wait to see some pigmentation!

If I had to say, I'd guess the light's tilted at a steeper angle than the guns. Also, I think the sentinel ones are actually a bit better looking, more suited to the scale of the 40K turrets (that being a slightly smaller scale than the rest of the tanks). As for the ACs, I don't think they need to be any beefier, they're just longer than normal ACs, not harder-hitting.
So good work, and I'd like to see some paint, as well.

I really like it - the only alteration I'd consider on the searchlight, is to add greenstuff to make it more of a solid connection to the turret... but I'm not sure it would work... so I'd just leave it matey Now I just have to try to persuade myself NOT to make a Hydra... I have too much to do already!

Had a rake through my bits box and found a better search light, here is the end result ( won't be painting her for a while, to may projects on the go ) and i also made up bases and painted the walls from the Aegis Defence Line commissar.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=terrain&action=display&thread=10524 when making up the conversion i bought some "Grey Stuff" from a hobby store, and I'm finding it far better for doing edges and for filing and trimming it seems to be a bit more like clay, rather than the rubbery texture of green stuff, and gives a better finish, i would recommend it for doing any of the vehicles.
