Hi guys, Is the Forgeworld Masterclass a good book? Is it value for money? (Thanks to ReWOLF who recommended it to me, just looking for confermation) I only want it for painting GW tanks, NOT FW as I can't afford the rule books to go with them yet alone the models. If the best painter at my club is 5 stars (and he is pretty good), then I'd rate myself as 4 stars at painting when I put my mind to it, maybe just under. When ordering the book I'd like to get some of those powders too. Which ones are useful, or should I just get the set and cry about the 2nd Valkyrie I could have bought instead? Edit I've just noticed that there are 2 sets and neither includes the whole range, so which ones should I go for? Cheers.

I'm perhaps slightly biased, but it's really awesome for vehicles. You'll get some cracking stuff if you follow it. It's less useful for smaller models, though.

Soon the GW tanks will be more expensive than the FW ones.

The book is AWSOME! I got the book with Powder Set 1. The powders look good, but I haven't tried them yet.
If you are ok at painting and want to get better - BUY THE BOOK!
Pretty much for vehicles only.
Warning - an airbrush is practically manditory for the techniques in the book, but the techniques themselves don't look too hard.
