Where did u get those i want one ?Most of the names are just references to other geek things or badassness to scare the enemy. Many photos of tank names can be found on google. Games workshops sells the Leman russ.

Since I can be an arse when playing 40k my Leman Russ names are as follows:
- Titan - Warhound - Warlord - Imperator - Macharius - Malcador - Gorgon - Valdor - Chimera
My Macharius's are also named: - Demolisher - Annihilator - Conqueror - Eradicator - Exterminator - Executioner - Punisher (For a Macharius Vulcan for obvious reasons) - Thunderer - Vanquisher
And my Chimera's are called: - Sentinel - Centaur - Minotaur - Hades - Basilisk - Colossus - Griffon - Medusa
It's fun when I have a nice mix of them on the field.
;D ;D ;D

My ye olde 3rd Ed army was an urban pdf/arbites outfit, tanks went by the names "Cease" and "Desist"
Upcoming Cadian Recon elements will go by: Queen b1tch Demands with menaces Blam (commissar's salamander) Brick Top Krak Wh0re Repeat Offender
And although it's not mine, my local FLGS owns a stormhammer called "size isn't everything".

Murder Machine Murder Mobile Death Delivered (Long range units. Saw it on a artillery gun in a Vietnam War documentary.) Murder Box Driver's Ed. Bad Driver Xenos for Dinner Heretic Blender Did I hit something? Negative Waves (Quick, where's it from?) Lock, Stock, and Barrel (I can't believe this saying would survive into the 41st millennium) Make Me a Hole Not Squishy No Brakes
I'm out for the time being. I think of tank names as more of a expression of the crew rather than the personification of the tank.

Well, my Leman Russ is officially named "Old B4stard." It scatters more than it rightly should.
I have three Chimeras and another Russ to name, and here are some of my ideas:
Chimera - "Bachelor Cake" (Contains my Mech Platoon Command Squad, accompanied by my Lady Commissar) Chimera - "Wingman" (for a Mech Platoon Squad) Chimera (unprocured) - "Pick-up Line" (Same Mech Platoon) Chimera (unprocured) - "Party Wagon" (Same Mech Platoon) Chimera - "Death Taxi (Ask About Our Low, Low Rates!)" (For my melta vets) Leman Russ Eradicator - "No Hiding Place" (as in, "The Rock Cried Out, 'No Hiding Place!'"), or "Infantry Muncher"

Etymologically Unsatisfying I really like that one! I named all my Fighting Tiger vehicles: Rhinos/Razorbacks - Bengal, Bali, Malaya, Corbett (tiger subspecies) Predator - Arjun, after a modern Indian MBT Vindicator - Ghazni, after a fortress in Afghanistan that was blown up by the Indian Army in 1840 Whirlwind - Tipu, after Tipoo Sultan, an Indian leader who basically invented rocket warfare Dreadnought - Lakshmi Bahadur - Bahadur means "hero" and Lakshmi is after an Indian princess who fought the British during the Mutiny. If I get back into my Guard and ever have the gumption to repaint everything and mark it properly, I intend to use British WWII tank markings and naming standards: A Company (names beginning with A) B Company (names beginning with B) and so on.
