Lolita snarled back "I may not look it but I'm also a sniper. I know how to do my job!" Gregori knew she was serious. She may be excitable but when under pressure she became a cold machine capable of lodging a bullet in his skull. He looked in her eyes. There was cold steely wrath in her eyes, She was all business. Gregori looked back at Threepwood. "You too, comraid...Ahem..comrade."

Vought looked at the goggles, and snorted.
"You can take this back, Cappy. My helmet already has night-vision." Vought said. "Also, what vox channel is the squad on? My helmet has one of those too."

"Squad frequency is delta 3 epsilon. Ok team let's get moving, Threepwood you're on point, Vought watch the rear."
Lucan slung his shotgun and stood up.

"Yes sir."
The old sniper took out his rifle and held it one handed with his other hand ready on his wraithbane. He made sure to toss a small, friendly salute to return the favour to Gregori.

Gregori swatted Lolita. "What was that for?" she exclaimed. "You aren't getting along with people. What are you SIX? You are so immature!" He fixed her with a stern gaze. She stammered back "He doesn't get to order me around!" Gregori sighed "He wasn't... he was hoping to give you helpful advice. Calm down." Lolita puffed up her cheeks and turned around to which Gregori responded by giving her a light pat on the butt. "Come on. For our future. Now let's do this!"

"Delta...three...Elipson..Ok, gotcha. I'll ring up if I see anything strange.", said Vought, fiddling with his helmet. Upon noticing Gregori and Lolita's (Seriously? Lolita?) little exchange, he grinned and asked, "Does pedophilia count?"

OCC; Check the ages Stgene as Lolita is older than Gregori.
Gregori turned and glared Vought. "She is no pedophile! I'm four years above legal age of consent on my homeworld and that is all YOU need to know." He turned indignantly away. "And she is WELL above the legal age as well."

OOC: Yeah, but Vought wouldn't know that, since he doesn't have access to the datafiles on his teammates. Only Cpt. Lucan should has those files (then again, this IS the 145th Penal Legion).
"...Oh, uh, right. Sorry 'bout the mix up.", said Vought, desperately trying to keep a straight face. I was more concerned about the girl, but he does have a point. Vought shrugged and began jogging behind Karen. "When you find that skak-head general, put an extra bullet into him for me, will ya? And good luck." Vought said over his shoulder.

"No problem, um Vought isn't it. I will." Repied Karen Bevon. "This man has betrayed the emperor and he will feel his wrath." He looked back at Vought and thought to himself maybe just maybe not all of these guys were bad. If he could just prove himself he could befriend some of them.
He patted his hellgun and checked his battery packs capacity. It full, good he could see something bad coming up ahead.

Threepwood was put on alert by the look in Bevons eyes, raising his rifle up to his hip while flicking the safety off. Then, his eyes caught something.
"Bevon, what can you see?" He muttered.

At the Monian's words, Scion shrugged. He let the sniper go, and he himself turned his attention to his briefing. Hey, can't blame a guy for trying to me nice. Oh well. The briefing lived up to its name, being brief and to the point. It wasn't hard to commit the thing to memory.
When he was finished, he tossed the briefing slate to the Captain again, then turned to look at what, for the time being at least, were to be his troops. From the look of them, team two would be well-rounded. A sniper, a guy who was obviously skilled in close combat, and then the guy with the fancy armour... good to have if it wasn't simply heretics involved on the planet.
Before he could call them over, the Captain announced to his team they were to move out. Scion watched the antics of the soldiers, and snickered. This Vought was a funny guy; a pity he wasn't in team two. And this Lolita, she might act like a energetic little kid, but it was apparent that she may or may not have issues with accepting help...
As soon as the Captain and team one left, Scion called out to the remainder of the troops. "Hey las-magnets! Get over here." He said this jest with a big smile, grinning out from under the visor that covered his face from the nose up.

Lucan switched his microbead to the squad frequency.
"Plan is simple once we arrive at the RV we'll decide how to enter the mines."

"Rendezvous. Basically the place we're trying to get to, if we get split up we meet there. And we make our plan their, your regiment needs to teach you better"

"Scion." Gregori began to speak "If we run into any robotic security or what not let me deal with it. I got sometin... special up my sleeve!" Lolita clearly in a bad mood simply growled. "So where do you think we need to be to provide maximum coverage?"

OOC: Hey now, Laughing Man. The Imperial Guard is drawn from thousands of worlds, each with a different training regimen. The Penal Legions throw all those different soldiers and backgrounds together, so it's inevitable that a soldier won't understand his superior's battle-language. That and the fact that I actually had no idea that RV stands for rendezvous.
At the Captain's remark, Vought's face colored, and he stopped. "HEY! Don't give me skak about the Gundog's training! Just because I don't know the same acronyms you do doesn't mean my regiment didn't teach its boys how to fight!" Vought paled and suddenly realized that he was shouting at a superior officer who had threatened another trooper with summary execution not too long ago. Me and my big fecking mouth. Still, if tries to shoot, I can always use Karen as a shield. Then his face darkened again. But if he ever badmouths my regiment again, I'll kill him, superior officer or not. He waited to see what the Captain would do, and slowly eased his finger on the trigger.

Brand got to his feet, pulling a strip of cloth from his pocket.
This Scion bloke's in charge. He seems competent.
He walked over to Scion.
So what's the plan? Brand asked as he tightened the ice blue cloth around his forhead.

Scion grinned. "Righto, Gregori."
Turning to his new troops, Scion quickly began to give them the run down of what the Captain had gave him. As he did so, he fell swiftly back into the routine of being in command. It was satisfying, actually, even if he had barely even started. Even if he was going to be ordering around a bunch of insubordiate frakkers who likely all had at least one insubordination charge, it was still a command.
"Alright ladies," he began. "We're doing exactly what the Captain said. Gonna sneak our way into the middle of our friendly neighborhood heretic's lair, kill him in a violently messy manner, and hoof it back to the good Captain." He paused, cracking his knuckles in front of him, then continued. "Now, I'll tell you guys the rest of the plan, as soon as I can get some semi-decent maps from the lander. So, gather you're stuff, and form up back on the lander. The Captain is expecting us to drop next air-raid, which, according to my chronometer, is fairly soon. So, double-time!"

Gregori lit a cigar. The fumes were putrid but they relaxed him, reminded him of the atmosphere on Rivia. He rummaged through his satchel, pulling up large bullets and individually checking them out. He sighed "Whew. All of the Haywire rounds are here and secure." He loaded six of them into his revolver. The warm crackling as the static of the shell's barely contained power as he lightly set each shell into their place. "Let's go."

Bevon glanced around at his fellow team members. He had mixed feelings about this Vought character, yelling at a senior officer. He shook his head the man also looked like he was transfixed on the character, with rifle on hand just awaiting for a time.
He moved away from this character and fell back in line to the next man, what was it, Threepwood thats right. The man looked sane but out here first impression never last.

Lucan made the signal to continue forward.

Vought frowned. Weird, he thought. It seemed that Lucan had chosen to ignore is statement entirely, and he wasn't sure whether to be insulted or delighted. He took his finger off the trigger and continued jogging behind Karen, taking note of his and the Captain's conversation. Heavy hauler my ass, he thought, then signaled Threepwood, Can you use your scope to confirm blur's identity?

Threepwood signed back:
"Too many smog fumes. If it wasn't for that I'd have identified it immediately."
