List one features rhinos and lash of submission...
I think is it probably the better list.(I only hesitate because lash is a bit cheeseball and only one of my rhinos is painted...) List number 2 has terminators, probably DSing someplace to get a quick shot off with the melta.(It beats walking.)
list number 2 would probably be better for killpoint games...and unfortunately I play a lot of those.

Lash: Lash is cheesy, but the entire codex mostly sucks, so we've gotta take anything we can get. It's good for three things, keeping CC away, getting dudes within assault range of your zerkers, and pulling dudes out of cover. It's huge. Take it if you want. I <3 Daemon princes, but with the new GK dex, it makes me rethink taking these. Your lash is safer on a sorc attatched to a squad... but less raw awesome fun.
Icons: I've never been able to justify the points in Icons, especially undivided. Personally I can always find better places for these points like a PF on a champ. On your list you can have an extra weapon in one of those havocs. Again with the new GK dex, vindicare can pick off your icon bearer and the points are gone (god i hate this dex).
Havocs: One thing i've noticed is that 5 man havocs die quickly. My sugestion is 1 extra dude per heavy weapon (typically at least 8).Splitting them up like that is interesting, but it ends up being almost the same thing as a troop squad, but can't hold objectives IMO. I would personally prefer to have them one squad, but it does leave them open to pie plate death.
Termies vs. Rhinos: Rhinos for sure. 3 termies will died before they do anything, no questions asked. Rhinos will get your troops to that spot they need to be.

Personally, I prefer list 2... mobility is essential for CSM, otherwise they just sit there and get shot into itty bitty pieces.
Really, It depends on what you are fighting the most...

Why do you contradict yourself..? Mobility is gotten from the Rhino's list 2 dosn't have those.. And the 3 deep striking terminators won't survive more than the turn they arrive, unless they get on the table really late.. I would go for list 1.. Sure the lash is a bit chessy, but you only have 1, not 2.. List 1 is much much more mobile than list 2, and is equally better than list 2..

Lash is not actually that cheesy(not chessy, kras ) due mech/psychic defences. 1st list is better due the rhinos, but what is that single lascannon havoc squad going to do? maybe take vindicator or predator instead?

I wrote this list around 9 months ago...
I wasn't really worried about the new GK dex back then.
thanks for the advice anyway.

At least they'll leave my speical weapons alone, what with those shots going toward my icons...
keeps me shooting my guns for another turn at the risk of losing my re-roll for failed morale checks.
I'd kind of prefer it if they shot at the icons...
I may just paint bullseyes on them.

I'd rather put the points into something useful, cuz as nice as that sounds, they're not going to target the icon bearer first if they're smart. Just a thought.

Oh good...
a smart player will shoot at something else...so I get my re-roll on failed ld checks after all.
