Looking at Blain's gun, why didn't you use a tau burst cannon instead of a HB? ++HERESY DETECTED++ MacKnight, please maintain your current position while a representative of you local Inquisitorial conclave is dispatched to have a nice chat with you. I do have an extra grenade girl who has a damaged GL that I could potentially cannibalize... I just think of it like a trophy, he strangled a stealth suit(predator) and took its weapon!

I still say he needs to carry more ammo. Also, how come you have EXTRA grenade girls and I have none? That's like the ONE model (that and the female commissar) that I still miss in my collection.

You can get them, assuming the random sorting of 'Chan special weapons into the blister you get goes in your favor, in the Catachan assault weapons blister from GW direct. Or you can find them on eBay, but they're usually jacked in price.

Is that still true? I emailed GW directly to ask if the 'nade babe was still included in the packs and they said no. Maybe the American and European stocks are different...

AFAIK it holds for GW US. Not sure about elsewhere... So, is it wrong that I'm considering taking the approximately bazillion "trap-style" plants that come with the Catachan heavy weapon teams which I have in my bits box, building them, and then getting a Citadel hill and sticking them all over it and making a sign to put on the hill that reads "Nom Hill," and counting it as dangerous terrain for infantry?

Make the hill and make a special rule that the player has to say "om nom nom nom" while taking casualties from the plants.

I somewhat remember an article about modelling a seam on a photorealistic faux lemon. The seam was then built up to look like lips with gs.
And thus was born "the venus man trap!"
dun! dun! dun!

If you build one of them you have to get Seymour to feed it...

For the nomming lemon, when I get around to attempting it, I'm considering adding part of a Cadian arm sticking out from the seam. I'm tempted to turn it into a mini diorama and add some 'Chans pointing at it and laughing. Maybe add a placard with the quote "Noob."? ;D

Do it with a Comissar instead? Dave Hmm... The lower sleeve of a Cadian officer's arm could be painted to look Commissarial... *Idea logged* For the nomming lemon, when I get around to attempting it, I'm considering adding part of a Cadian arm sticking out from the seam. It will be a Hwile ("Why do you put so much emphasis on the 'h'?") before I get around to it. Need class to calm down first, and I have to source a supplier for the artificial lemon, although I do have some local candidate knick-knack shops in mind.

You could use jif lemons, they would be pretty cheap then.

You could use jif lemons, they would be pretty cheap then. Ah! We don't have that particular brand here in the States, but there is a brand of pre-squeezed lemon juice that comes in a lemon squeeze bottle that I know I've seen in the grocery store. IIRC, though, they have a flat bottom, and a noticeable cap section which may not make them suitable. I'm thinking more of using a lemon from an artificial fruit bowl display--there may be a froo-froo shop near me that caters to such things, or I may also hit up local art supply stores. Good idea, though!

But this would be alien vegetation, so who says it has to look exactly like our terrestrial "trap" plant species?

Well, if you don't want it to look like a terrestrial trap, don't use the female commissar.
