To be honset, if it is a Traitor Guard Legion, it needs to follow the basic Guard List anyway, Its just follows Chaos.

for a banner id recommend a sort of hanging part of a corpse, preferable disease ridden, as id know you'd like it like that again some zombie bits from the warhammer zombie sprue would help you out immensly, and you could even use the rest as plaque zombies, as the lost and damned list says you can, how cool would that be!

I have been thinking about doing a traitor guard army for a while, but I think I'm just too Imperial to ever get started!

However, I think it might be cool to use the codex IG list and simply modify it to work as a chaos army. Lots of psykers could be cool. Priests could even work too as crazed cultist preachers (you could even give them huge mutated claws and have them count as Eviscerators). Ogryns could represent bloated, overgrown mutants and conscripts could be gibbering, lowly cultists.
Just some thoughts... Themed armies are much more fun than armies taylored for winning in my opinion...

also, if you get a enough money, you could get the forge world chaos ogryns, they're AWESUM! but of course there loads of dosh, but it works out only £1 more for each compared to buying ogryns normally.

yeah, they are cheaper than buying normal ogryns here in oz, and i think that this would be a cool idea, maybe mix the ig and lost and the damned rules together because the ig are allowed to m ix the inquisitor rules together so it should work out fine.

hey fishki, to make sure no1 can complain, you woudlt even need to mix the guard codex to use the ogryns. cus the "big mutants" in the last and the damned are like a perfect representation.
