I do not know if I should post it here, since it is not a real Warhammer 40k rumour, but here we go. Here is another fantastic miniature from DreamForge and when I saw it for the first time, it immediately reminds me of the old Knight Titans. It will be equipped with two close combat weapons as far as I know, but there is also an option for a Vulkan Cannon planned. In the box will also be another head variant for all the Chaos players out there (coincidence?) The only thing I would change are the exhausts. They look a little too Steampunk for me as they are, but all in all I like the miniature a lot and I think that it would look fantastic on the battlefield. The only drawback is that the price is very steep. The kit will cost 350.00$. In the box are both head variants included, but if you want to have the Vulkan Cannon, you have to pay another 45.00$. (Although it will still be cheaper than a Warhound Titan) If you want to see more pics, look here (I think DreamForge has some problems with their homepage right now, so it is a little confusing) What do you think? Cheers! -Magg

Knight titans are such a nice concept. This one looks good too. Now someone just needs to come up with some stats.

If you want to take a closer look to the kit, you should check out the construction manuals, whicht can be found right hereI do not think that it will be to hard to create stats for a Knight titan. You only have to orientate yourself on the Warhound Scout-Titan. Make it a little weaker, but maybe faster and you have your titan The Vulkan Cannon can be a Vulcan Megabolter. The close combat weapon should probably be weaker than the bigger versions of the Reaver Titan. Otherwise it would be a little odd to see that a Knight Titan brings down a Warlord Titan in close combat so easily I really like this kit, and if the Warhound Titan would have the option for a close combat weapon, I would use this model instead of the Warhound. -Magg

That does look very groovy, but wouldn't it be a bit large for a 40k scale Knight? They were only about 3/4 the size of a Warhound... still might be a good chaos Warhound stand in though...

In my book the Warhound Titan from ForgeWorld is too small , but that the scales of the miniatures does not fit with the fluff is a problem that applies to every Warhammer 40k vehicle . Hmmm … when I look at the picture, which can be found on lexicanum, I think that the Epic model was placed on a normal infantry base (2,5cm). When I than look at this picture (not mine): and compare it with the scale picture of the Leviathan: than I think that the size of the Leviathan really fits. In a rough estimation, which takes the second picture as a basis, I would say that the model is about 18cm tall, and since the Warhound is 25cm (according to the ForgeWorld homepage), it will even pass your 3/4 criterion . A scale shot with a Warhound would be very useful, though ;D When I look at all the other weapons and equipment, which might be released, than I really have to pull myself together … *drool* … look here if you want to know what I am talking about (pdf file: 1,6MB) -Magg

This guy just sold on ebay for right around $500. I was painfully jealous that I did not win.
