so this is my first GW tank conversion, it'll be the first tank I've ever painted, and its made me into a tredhed apologies for the poor photos, i had bad lighting with the flash only working for some shots :/ what do you guys think? i moved the forward las cannon sponson, changing the drivers viewport and the gunnery position around, (wanted a slightly mars pattern effect) its a triple bolter config, great for mowing some infantry i hope. the bolts on the armor skirts were abit of a pain, as they are all green stuff, and shaved down to the proper size after i glued them down.

WOW! You did really well with those sandbags, its hard to get the shape consistant for multiple sandbags. Look forward to seeing more of your work.

Look forward to seeing more of your work. thanks, a couple of them came out kinda bad, but the trick i used was to make a sausage of greenstuff about the width of the sand bags, (but much much longer in length) and use a knife or even better, a pair of clippers (they have angled sides so as it clips the greenstuff, it gives them kinda pinched edges that look pretty good) to chop out a few of the basic shapes, then just smooth the edges alittle with your fingers by just kinda touching it alot, as a bunch of light fingerprints makes them have a textured look more like burlap material, and once placed on the tank, i use a tool or knife to poke tiny stitch marks along the longer sides, and two rows very close together across the shorter side, if visible.

I like you tank! You migh consider putting some logs (sticks) on it once you are done painting. The allies in WW2 used logs as extra armor. It looks like that is what you are going for with all the sandbags (which look ace by the way!).

Cool, I am loving this tank, a lot. It looks really brilliant.
Speaking of extra armour............ I one carved a large hole in the side of a russ and slapped some spare tracks over it, it looked quite good,Kinda like a hasty field repair. Might be worth doing something similar yourself........
