I intend to make a army of black-armoured mercaneries. But I want to make their armour look cool, so if anyone could give me a hand I would appreciate it. And also if anyone could post something about how to paint night camo, and stuff.

I'd do black with dark grey highlights, and then make it glossy with a gloss coat (only the armour though).

I would shy away from black with gey highlights... too overdone and does not really "pop" unless you got skills.
If you are determined to use black, I'd recommend uniforms in dark grey (like Panzer Grey or even darker), and armor in black with a Liche Purple or Regal Blue highlight, does not take a lot of effort for that to really stand out. Definately good advise from joebob22 with the gloss finish on the armor pieces!
Or - if you want to take it another way, remember that dark dreen, dark brown and dark red can pass easily as night-colors.

I had an idea similat to this one a while ago too, I'd recomend using the plastic scout sniper its. The night vision goggles would look ace, I'd also get some of the Cadian extras from FW.
As far as painting goes, what's worong with Chaos black highlighted with Adeptus battle grey, this foundation colour has got to be one the best colours there is for highlighting black. Good luck! remember to post pics!

My mercaneries are not 'spec op'. They are specialists in Terror tactics. Oh, new idea! Must post this elsewhere.
