Hive Tyrant x2 sets of scything talons +hive commander +Wings 255
Tyranid Prime +bonesword & lashwhip +Death Spitter 100
9 Tyranid Warriors +deathspitters 315
20 termagants +devourers +toxin sacs 220
10 genestealers 140
10 genestealers 140
5 Ymgarl Genestealers 115
5 Ymgarl Genestealers 115
10 gargoyles 60
10 gargoyles 60
Trygon prime 240
Trygon prime 240
Total: 2000
Gants and Stealers outflank. Ymgarls make my opponent fear area terrain. Gargoyles surround the Tyrant in a swirling mass of wings, warriors spread out and advance, trygons burst out of the ground.
I don't know about taking this list against a mech army...but luckily I don't have to worry about that too much from the usual gang of people that I play against. My only AT in this list comes from MCs and rending claws...
I'm likely going to be sending these guys after necrons or MEQs.

If you are keeping the Trygons together you only really need to prime one for synapse. However if the 'stealers and 'gants are outflanking who will be providing synapse for the gants? Maybe you can put the normal 'stealers in one group and split your warriors into two groups. One squad of warriors can outflank instead of the gants, while the gants move up with warrior squad 2.
just some thoughts

I was going to say the same thing, and I think other than timing the perfect pounce, anti-armour is the only issue here. A pretty good list that looks fun to play!
