So you have a wave of in your face fast stuff with the transports, bikers and copters and you have two medium sized mobs behind them looking less like a priority target to either sieze ground or to mop up after the first wave hits?
edit: spotted the battlewagons for the 20 ork mobs (shouldn't post whilst gluing together chimeras.

A very orky plan the only big problem being you don't get much from the mob rule special rule so if your opponent is able to pore firepower into you you'll break more easily.

Hmmm... You might want to stick a Big Mekk with a KFF in your list, mount him in a trukk with a squad, and position him so the KFF can provide cover for all of the other trukks and the battle wagons...

I could do that...
but the ambiguity on the rules for the KFF always make me hesitant to take one. Ork Codex says: grants +5 cover to infantry, vehicles count as obscured. Rulebook says: Obscured vehicles get a +4 save unless otherwise noted. I am in favor of giving the vehicles the +4 save since it only says infantry in the codex...but I've heard the argument both ways...so really I'd rather just avoid it and spend my points on other things.
Besides don't you know that orks is never defeated in battle? If they run for it they'll just live to fight another day, and if they're killed they die so it doesn't count as defeat.
So why worry about it?
