The hueys look so cool, I love em. But I also like black hawks. And the h-19 really looks 40K ish because it looks out of proportion and stupid, like its gonna fall over or something, but thats awesome. Either one, its a toss up. You can have a ton of fun with this. Good luck.

well after xmas i can prolly get the stuff i need and with my XTi im geting i can take some realy nice photos.
Im thinking of shortening the tail and removeing the rotors and instead puting 4 like jet engines on it with one on each corner all pointing downward mointed on gimbles set out from the frame of the aircraft.
also im not quiet clear on what the bonuses of the external fuel tankes are cuz the rocket pods or helstrikes seem alot more usefull

There is actually a post on this site with information and pictures about converting sentinels and a chimera into helicopters. I'm not exactly sure where, if someone else knows can you put a link here. I'm pretty sure it's on painting and conversions or perhaps picture post.

Fuel pods allow it to have a much larger range, due to the greatly increased fuel load. That probably would be a pointless consideration in a game like Warhammer 40k.

He's asking for information about how to make one, not which helicopter looks most cool, although saying that the Black hawk does look cool!

Yeah. Use plasticard. ALOT OF IT. Be creative. Or maybe just find a model kit.

i think I'm going to combine parts of a h-19 model and chimera that was destroyed after being hit with a STR 10 AP 1 foot. All jokes aside I'm not sure what scale i should use for the h-19 model? also after looking at my copy of forge world 3 i found out what the external tanks are for, they are for if you are transporting sentinels or Cyclops's in the Valkyrie
