Here is my Destroyer Tank Hunter that I made out of an old looted leman russ from my ork army that never really got off the ground.I made the barrel out of the leftover hell hammer cannon from my baneblade and the barrel from the leeman russ for the main gun also I used some green stuff for the power cables. The back of the tank I simply removed the large hump and covered it with plasticard then added some bits to make it look better. sry for he lack of pics of how i constructed the tank as posting here was only an after thought anyways here are some of the pics i took of it here she is and as you can see i used a barrel from the leeman russ and the barrel off a hellhammer for the main gun you can see that i just covered the hole for the turret with some plasicard then fitted it with a hatch from a leeman russ the yellow spot is where the hvy stubber broke off and also reveals its origins as a looted leeman russ i tryed to make it a bit more unique by changeing the back of the tank anyways just wanted to show it off and hopefully inspire some people or atleast give some ideas also more pics to come

yeah lol i know about the cannon, i only noticed that it was squint after i had glued it on.
also i played my first game with it today against a space marine army and I'm happy with it, i managed to pop a predator landraider crusader and 2 dreds and his Chaplin before it was swarmed by 2 squads of assault Marines with melta bombs.

The one thing that has always boggled my mind about a destroyer conversion is crafting the top hatch. Overall, I think this tank is ready for battle! Stellar work!

It looks awsome. But I personally would have used a basilisk gun instead of a leman russ... But this works just as fine!

Not the neatest job in the world, very effective though! It looks wicked ;D Congrats on flattening all that space marine armour too! If anything that should inspire us to build one!

Great execution on the conversion, the weathering looks like it'd be great at game distance, but the decals stand out too much for my liking - to stark..
Looks like it was stenciled with shiny new paint after it was already dirty and through the "mess-o-war."
But overall a great job.
