To my eye the highlights on his armour on the thighs seem a little heavy, at least in the rear photo.

Hmm... They are a little thick, aren't they... But then again, those parts were the hardest to get : (/excuse)

Share with me, now, your recipe for the armor and the highlights, please, for when I eventually some day finally get around to painting the small force of CFs that I am collecting... Nao! *Lashes Walrus*

But then again, those parts were the hardest to get : (/excuse) Have you tried ng back over the area with the main colour and using that to thin the highlights? I've tried that before when I couldn't get to an area to highlight it. edit: But having said that sometimes details like these look weird up close but fine when you look at them on the table... so whatever works...

Nao! *Lashes Walrus* Gah, that's not nice... Alright then. The blue was Necron abyss, highlighted with Enchanted blue, then washed with Asurmen blue. The red was Mechrite, highlighted with blood red, and a ball red wash. Metallic bits were boltgun metal, followed by badab wash and chainmail drybrush. Boltgun casing was Adeptus Battlegrey, highlighted with 1:1 mis of adeptus and astronomican grey. Now, I don't know what to do the last one in the set as... Any suggestions?

Nice paint scheme on that one, Walrus For a new chapter I'd suggest the Minotaurs (they are totally impossible to paint, by the way!), who have red and yellow in alternating stripes.. wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Minotaurs
