I've been wanting to make a new tau tank, on the chassis of a Devilfish, and was wondering what to call it. It's going to be heavily armed, something along the lines of; 180 points F--S--R--BS 14 13 11 3(4) Tank, Skimmer Weapons; Main; Twin linked Railgun, 2 Twin linked Missile pods Secondary Armaments; 2 Burst Cannons It is equipped with a target array at no extra cost. Options; Can be upgraded with any of the Vehicle upgrades from the Tau vehicle armoury. May replace secondary weapon systems with a pair of heavy gun drones at 30 points. Special Rules; Advanced sensor suite; May re-roll night fighting tests. This open to change as I would like some feedback and C&C. Please could someone help with the naming of this tank, I know it has to be fishy, I've been thinking of Steelfish or Eray, but I'm not sure, my friend said I should call it the shrimp but I think it deserves something better!

Thank you for your suggestions Yes it does have AV14 on the front, the hammer head only has AV13 but I wanted to give it a gunship feel, I'll probably change the side to 12 thinking about it, I'll get round to making it soon.

Sperm Whale? Squid? I like Squid, sounds right "The missle shrieked past the Devilfish by mere inches and impacted against the side of the Squid, blowing out it's insides"

I actually quite like the Manatee, or you could call it the minnow and get it over with!

or.... maybe.... call it a Stickleback (tiny little fish that are bloody vicious) and just as a suggestion as i never really got far with the Tau, is there a Piranha? if not, another great ferocious fish. Maybe a Pike or a Zander? or to keep in with the inappropriate suggestions... how about a Shubumpkin (sorry xD) Dave

Sounds good, even though a nautilus is a mollusc and a manatee is a mammal, so not fish.

I guess they have that forgeworld whale thing...
