When I started doing these I sure as hell didnt think Id end up doing six....
GGVI: Entitled 'Take Make The Objective!', this competition is all about making cool objectives for your games of 40k OR Warhammer. Why Warhammer? To add a bit of flavour, and everybody needs objectives to fight over
Oh, and any race goes, so strung out slaves on sticks for your new Dark Eldar army and a Space Wolf Mini fridge filled with beer are definately encouraged
The models submitted can be converted models, re-posed models, wierd bits of stuff that you found in a drawer somewhere..... whatever you fancy, although it must all be done by YOU. Yes thats right, YOU. A bit paranoid now? You should be, I'm watching you.....!
As usual, entries will consist of Final Finished Product (FFP) photos, preferably at least 3 (from different angles), and up to 3 WIP photos.
At least 1 WIP must be provided per objective, to show that it was your own work!
Multiple objectives are allowed, but please dont go too crazy and make 777 for you Thousand Sons army or anything.....
And they only count as one entry. Ner ner na ner ner.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE send me your WIP and Final Photos ALL AT THE SAME TIME! IE in one PM when youve finished.
This will allow me to keep track of whos entries are whos and keep them all together. I unfortunately lost some entry information last time round, and I was absolutely gutted that I'd inflicted that on someone after their hard work and effort.
Also, please avoid giving members 'sneak peeks' of what youre up to. I like to keep entries secretnot because im mean and I dont want you to see them. Theyre secret to keep voting unbiased and away from a 'hes cool so im voting for his' mentality.
You should now be aware of these requirements, anyone submitting without taking notice of this won't have their entries included in the voting thread.
I have been very lenient with it in the past competitions, which was responded by members adding 'it was a shame WIP's weren't included'. Peer moderation is a wonderful thing, so take notice!
Please also provide good quality photos where possible. Borrow a digi cam if you must, as some mobile phone pics do not look as good as they should. You want to do your painting justice! And if we can't see your wonderful painting, howcan we vote for it?
If you would like pics cropping etc then I can do that for you, providing the quality of the original image is acceptable.
All entries must be submitted to myself via PM by Thursday 30th June at 24:00 GMT, and as with previous competitions a separate voting thread will be created.
EXTENDED TO THURSDAY 7th JULY 24.00 GMT
The winner will recieve praise, glory, and the traditional no-expense-spared sig banner (provided by Ymott Industries tm) to proclaim how awesome they are.
As always, this is all in the name of fun, and improving our painting skills, so please submit a model, especially if you voted for this competition!
And please be as creative as possible! If you need inspiration (or a 'levels of crazyness' check) look at the previous voting threads.
Final Thought: Keep them clean. Cases marked 'Porn' are all well and good, but a guardman doing the five knuckle shuffle just isnt right
Good luck guys, may the Emperor guide you.
