Well I had bought a IG Battleforce 20 Shock Troopers and a Command Squad. I usually use a flat white spray paint for the first coat then paint other colors on. The other day when I got the Battleforce in the mail I set out the pieces of the shock troopers to spray them with that. Well my friend had used it and was at his house so I went looking around in the basement for another white paint. (my mom's ex boyfriend painted a lot of plane models and was into RC planes and his stuff is still at my house lol) I find a can and look it over saw "Modeling Paint" on the top so I thought yay I found what I needed. I go out and spray them down and bring them back in to dry. A few hours later I check them to see how well they dryed. I notice a collection of paint in spots where you couldn't see the details so i grab a napkin and proceed to wipe those spots off, when doing this it distorted the plastic. My first thought was oh yay I just sprayed 20 Guardsmen with paint for RC models. So I have 20 highly disfigured Guardsmen ;-;
tl;dr Wrong Paint disfigured Shock Troopers oh yay

Awuh that sucks comrade. Primer can be tricky indeed...my friend did that to about 100 of them. A nightmarish episode.

It's always a good idea to read the label when using sray paints.

It's always a good idea to read the label when using sray paints. I did it read "White Primer model paint use on balsa, plywood, fiberglass, aluminum ABS plastic or MonoKote-covered surfaces" I saw the ABS plastics and figured hmm it will work on them only afterwards I realized that it was for stronger plastic >.< sorry I didn't clarify that first.
