I actually am able to find backpacks from Tamyia. They're a model company that does mainly WWII stuff. Their 1:35 scale U.S. backpacks actually look great on IG, but they can be somewhat hard to find. I can ussually get them in an accesories set, but not all of Tamyia's accessories sets are the same.

Berets are easy m8, just take a small amount of green stuff and roll it into a ball, then push it onto the head and lift the front ever so slightly. sorry cant b more specific but on a tight schedule to get a desert camo done psycho

Remember to cut of the upper bit of the head first before sculpting a beret. It will look better that way and will be easier that way. Sculpting backpacks is pretty easy. As soon I got my digicam working again I'm thinking to start a sculpting tutorial for smaller stuff and later when I'm better I'll give you a tutorial for sculpting complete minis as well

I only have to find that damned mini-usb cable to get all the data of the chip. After that I can reformat it so that my notebook cardreader can directly read the chip...

battlewagon bitz was purchased by the war store (thewarstore.com) and they're still selling bits just like they always have thru battlewagon, which again, is now just a subsidiary of thewarstore.com. kinda nice since thewarstore gives you a flat rate on shipping for your whole order which is pretty dang affordable, especially if you get all your friends together to make a big order.
this being said - just go buy some backpack bits for a couple bucks per pair off battlewagon bits thru thewarstore.com

I actually but berets on all the guardsmen in my army without heads, so here is a tip with the catachan type heads. Before you try to mold the beret out of green stuff, first shave the head of its hair and the little knot from the bandana. It takes a little bit more time but it makes the results far more consistent. Cheers and gl.

Serach for 'Pig Iron Productions' i bought some great backpacks from them two days ago. Theyre all different on the sprue so make the unit look really natural. I regret getting forgeworld now as theyre very generic.
