Orange hair and space wolves go together like Bonnie and Clyde.
Great painting, by the way.

I like the Typhoon conversion, what did you use? I also like your basement Or is it a bunker?

Actually, the house was built in the late 40's early 50's by a prior service WWII vet who specialized in ordinance. In one of the pics you can see a closet door. On the other side of that door is a bomb shelter.

I love the Terminators! In particular the fact that they look like normal termies, none of that 'I'm going to cover myself in fur and teeth to make me look like a big angry teddy bear'

FINALLY I got around to taking some more pictures. I've gotten quite a bit done on the Logan Wing army since last time I posted. LONG FANGS WIP: Step 1: Find Parts Step 2: Assemble Step 3: Base Colors Step 4: Details

ugh.... I just realized that since my camera can go so close and get such detail.... it is not friendly to mistakes....

Some very nice painting, keep it up! I am really liking the differing colours on the ML's, a really good sense of individuality. Also, I officially approve of your bunker! Nothus

Thanks, I like my bunker too! Yeah, I felt that the differing colors really added to the individualistic mentality of the Space Wolves.
As always, I would appreciate any comments and suggestions for improvement.

Ewwww missile spam ;D How do you feel about all the necrons with the sheilding thingy though? I might have stuck a couple of lascannons in there as well.... They look really nice matey, well done! Yes, macro setting is a lady dog for showing up errors you can't really see with the naked eye! I wouldn't worry about it though, as they're probably 4x bigger than IRL and nobody carries a magnifying glass around with them. Unless Sherlock Holmes is one of your home boys..... Suggestions for improvement? Paint the base rims. Otherwise they're great ;D

Damn it dude I can tell you take your wargaming seriously. How do you achieve such detailed paint job?

3ff3ct: You noticed how the bases are a little blotted.... In a display case it doesn't look great but it actually helps them blend into my gaming board very nicely. When I build a display board for tourney's it will also match my models so it should almost give the effect of them not even having bases. Thoughts? @mael: Years and years of painting....

If it looks good on the table then that's what it's all about! ;D

I really like all the terminators and I like the splashes of bright color here and there. This thread as inspired me to throw up some pictures of my current progress on my own Wolves, though mine are a bit diffirent...they're a lighter shade of grey and I used as many helmets as possible. They're not as nicely painted though, I'm still working on that.
I really like these guys and I hope to see more!

Congrats on the near total victory! I've never done a tourny before, it's always something I've considered and never done....

Well, the funny thing is that my buddy and I went to a tournament about an hour from where we live. He got first and I got second. Both of the prizes were the Citadel Ruins sets, which will go towards the scenery at my house.
