Greetings, fellow IGMB members
I run Harakoni warhawks organized as IA8 elysians, and need some advice on the CCS.
To be frank, I don't know how to run it in a hybrid air cav airborne list.
Should I shell out the points for a valkyrie to transport them in? with only one special weapon available, I don't know if its a good idea. Should I deep strike him with the other men and bark out orders? Or is it better to have him sit at home objective as support?
I have the rest of my army generally figured out, except this squad. I really don't know what it does best in an elysian army. I'd greatly appreciate any advice.

As an aerial cavalry command, I'd recommend loading them up on special weapons - even grenade launchers will do. Indeed, under any circumstances, loading them up on special weapons is advised.

If you're using the IA8 list then i'd say ccs xx vox x meltaxx 3 auxillary grenade launchers xx carapacexx that's 99 points total + the valk

With my limited IA8 choices, I believe I will go with something similar to laughing man's idea. 3-4 AGL's plus a melta shot should toast light-medium armour with relative ease whilst having a reasonable chance of being in range of a melta vet squad to boss around. Thank you for the input fellas

I gotta be honest here - ill await the execution - i use mine as a throw awat unit - tooled up with meltas they go for the biggest tank in the enemy army, destroy it and then get killed. It sounds harsh but it works.
