I heard they're might be a newer army list that lets players include defilers and demons amongst their ranks?

To the Forgeworld website! *Runs off*
*Returns*
Check out the Siege of Vraks, Part 3. They don't add them to the army list per say, but they do have new rules and variants for them.

Vraks 3? It's one of their books, so they don't have the official list available for download. That's only for the older lists they had to update with the new IG codex.

Argghh, thought it was a errata to the Seige of Vraks book. Because that book is relative old.

I heard they're might be a newer army list that lets players include defilers and demons amongst their ranks? Yes; it's in Imperial Armour volume 7: the siege of vraks part three. But there are no defilers or daemons. No daeon princes either.. It's only some plague marines, traitor guard/ aka renegades, mutants (conscripts), disciples of xaphan, enforcer chaos commissars and all the usual tanks and artillery, plague ogryns. The only difference between this list and the last renegade list is the points costs and the fact that the last one was Khorne based and this one is Nurgle based. No doubt in the future there will be more siege of Vraks book, but with Slaanesh pain priestesses and Tzeentch transformers.

Yeah that would be sick. I hope at least they remove the 0 - 1 Disciples squad rule and include at least 0 - 1 squad of plague bearers. BTW wouldn't defilers be appropriate 9 stalk tank style? ) I mean if they can field Malcadors and Valdors, super heavies why not a lil bit of Defiler bottom?

No there aren't any restrictions on plague marines nor disciples of xaphan.
Interestingly you can take all mutant troops.
Army idea: mutant troops, plague marine aspiring champion hq, rogue psyker, chaos spawn and elite plague marines.

No; the only restrictions are 0-1 plague marine aspiring champion, in the HQ section, and 0-5 enforcers (i.e. chaos commissars). The elites are unrestricted now, so you could use all three elite slots on either disciples of xaphan or plague marines. What bugs me about the list is the lack of daemons and daemon princes, even though FW made decent daemon models. They include details about daemons, but then you can't take them.

Exactly Chem, just a small unit of plaguebearers could really spice up a game. I just find that the LATD fluff is beautiful but the army lists have never really done them justice.
