I am trying to make a game where one player is the bad guy and uses all NPC, while the other player gets to build up his gang. So no power gaming just friendly fun.
I already have a rule set that I am using but I will need to expand the campaing rules and make some tweaks. So this thread will not be a total rule development
The thought is that mostly the player will get an objective that his gang will be payed for achiving, but I also want a possibility for the gamer to gain some extra loot during the game. (A loot list WIP will be coming)
The different kind of loot I am thinking of is so far.
Bottle caps
Scrap metal
Scrap Electronics
Nuka Cola
Bottle cap is of course money used to buy equipment for the gang.
Scrap metal will be used to repair and expand vehicles. I am also considering that it will cost some scrap metal just to use the vehicle in one battle.
Scrap electronics will be used to repair vehicles. It will also be used for customising armor and equipment. Later on for expanding the gangs base.
NukaCola it tastes so good, you get a reroll after drinking it.
The gang base.Mostly this will be on paper, but if players want to build some terrain let them do so. The start base will be a shack for the gangs leader and one tent per gang member. Each building will be upgradable. Somehow I will need to make the upgrades on the base important in the game. I am thinking of following ladders.
Tent
Rule: If the designated mini has a tent in the home base, it is allowed a reroll on a nerve test.
The tent can have no attachements.
A tent is upgradeble to a shack at the cost of 2 scrap metal and a Nuka-Cola. (You need the energy for building, it is hard work you know).
Shack
Shack with watchout tower
Garage, butchdocs home or Armory.
I will also implement add-on to each building. For example...
Fortified.
Searchlight
heavy weapon
Chemistry set (for making drugs)
Tool set (For making/repairing equipment and vehicles)
etc..
