If these rumors have any foundation I may have found a use for all of the cavalry I've accumulated....

ive also just noticed some models have been removed from forgeworld for example the ork battlefortress, have to admit ive never even seen one in a video batrep so maybe sales were realy low.

excellent!
Great kits, I have both though went with 2 klaws (on the mecha dread) and 2 kilkannons on the mega.

This is the all in one bundle were you get both so only got one o each weapon for them.

to be honest, the ways the rules work, that is probably better.
for some reason 2 kilkannons count as a twin linked kilkannon on a mega dread where as on other models they get to fire each separately (at the same target), thus potentially putting out more hits on the target unit. Given ork BS and the large template twin linking doesn't do much.
However, I have only fielded the model once in an apoc game and ran a home-brew ruling with it, no one minded.
On a less grumbly note, the shunta is a particularly effective weapon. And I believe both the kill saw and the klaw have slightly different close combat bonus's making for some fun in assaults!

nice to see AV15 making an appearance.
It'd be nice to make one with an earthshaker cannon emplacement instead of the turbo laser, but who wouldn't install the turbo laser give the choice!

^ Well.. I was reading that 'Treacheries of the Space Marines' book and apparently just being close to a turbo laser is a death sentence when its being fired. It cooks the flesh of anyone nearby and it can completely blind you as well. But who cares about the 'heath and safety' aspect?

Yeah... Commissars...
You pay the same points cost as a terminator for a Commissar with a plasma pistol and she just blows her own brains out (cooks her face?) with the pistol just at the sight of some Meganobz. Meh!

I've got 5 metal castellan robots. Must check out the hh rules to see if I can field this stuff in a bizarre time warp game. I actually wrote 'heath' not health.. That's really bad man. George Michael must have possessed me....

if that is the case then they need to change the way the deployment system works... no way should titans engage at a range of 24"!!!! how titans shouldn't be used: (at 16:20 or so you see the warlord's deployment and at 19:00 or so you see why titans don't get so close... ) www.youtube.com/watch?v=ItB81DVbRDs

tbh warlords should just be used as gun emplacments off the side of the table lol. also I think apoc should always be on larger tables with a larger distance between forces, however to avoid all your ork boys being mowed down by apoc templates the uber weapons should have to take the first 2 turns to power up before firing.

Did anyone else see the forgecworld bulletin with the I image of the warlord titan foot? They scaled it against a space marine and it looks like each toe section is the size of a rhino at least, madness lol

I saw it; madness!
There isn't much point playing against that without serious anti tank weaponry.
I like the new Mechanicus neutron laser destroyer but can't afford any Onagers. The only way to take them is in a squadron of three but if you do that its about 440 points and they all have to shoot at the same target; it's kind of overkill.. Or the small blast markers will just bounce around the titan, like a rubber ball.

the titan is cool... however the 40k ruleset doesn't match titan scale. (as I detailed in my previous posts).
I want them to release a single warlord titan foot with exploded shin and knee joint that has access points for infantry.
