Not a high bar to hurdle, but yes, it is by a long way. Reds

I had wondered what they looked like, they were in a thousand sons (novel) and I assumed them to be like thunderhawks. Where's the buy button?

I don't think they'll go onsale until after the first Games Day in Nottingham. They're only making a few I'm sure so it will be first come first serve at Games Day.

Boo.... a chance to fix the storm raven, and missed.
One of the few forgeworld models I dislike.
The marine captin dude looks cool, but not any of the termi's.
Chaos dread looks awesome.. far too easy too shoot for too little gain ... but tempted...

I don't dislike it but it looks a bit on the Tau side for an Imperial flyer.

I'm kind of grooving on the Deimos Pattern Predator Executioner. Probably won't work out as well on the flimsier platform as the LR Executioner does, but it's certainly going to be non-ignorable, and it looks pretty cool. I do wish all the Deimos Pattern Predator variants had the curved gunshields on the Sponsons like the original Predator Model, but they're still pretty cool even without them.

What do you think about the heavy conversion beamer it can have?

I was thinking about those while failing to fall asleep last night. I think they're going to work out much like Doomsday Arks: Take two, put one in each corner, and go for the cross-board shots. Take advantage of the Turret Mount and the fact that turning in place doesn't count as moving to keep the AV13 toward the biggest threats while throwing S10 AP1 Large Blasts long-ways across the field.
Might be worth adding Heavy Bolter Sponsons since it switches to more of an Anti-Infantry profile once you get into Range for either of the Sponson options.

The best thing about them is GK can't use them... So it's basically like a toned down Leman Russ executioner, unless you make it the best non apocalyptic weapon in the game at over 42". When looking at the firing calibration rule, does anyone else get the feeling it's going to be given to an infantry model? I think it may be a terminator weapon, as it mentions relentless.

I know we're past them but the Terminators are meh. I don't like the Contemptor though so I suppose I was never really destined to like them. As far as Cosmic's dislike for the back packs goes I can agree, but I think they do add a decent level of continuity to anyone collecting a retro Space Marine army so for that reason I think it was a decent choice.
That squig however is ace. I would love to see some squig-orientated Ork armies include some of those models.

Maybe he is the Ciaphas Cain of Fantasy. ;D Run awaaaaaaay!!!!! Yeah, I love squigs. Im just a bit peeved that those Mangler Squigs have so many gobbos on them, otherwise I'd definately have some already!

Squigs are awesome... don't let gobbo's stop you getting cool models, I use the smaller squig riders in apocalypse as bigger bomb squigs, gobbo fanatics as bomb squigs that will instantly immobilise walkers (but are useless vs tanks) and have a horde of gobbo spearmen as grots with no gun but +1 strength and archers which use their arrers like grot pistols.
Once I've filled out my quota of Ork aircraft I may get some more squigs since the huge ones look so cool!

new landraider version. glad it costs almost £100! sounds like it'd hurt getting 8 lascannons, 2 heavy bolters and 25 SM up close to ur lines!
