Right, I won't have access to the internet now until Saturday night, since I'm visiting my Grandparents first. Have fun tomorow, and I ought to be up at Maelstrom around 10:30. See you then.

And the excitement builds... One more Evening at work (perfect opportunity to grab my Eldar...) then a final day of plotting...

One more day. If Dave and RT aren't coming then I won't bother bringing the fantasy Orcs. That way I can bring some plastic trees and we can turn my Travelodge bed into a battlefield. I need to get a battlemat... See you at Maelstrom, Shostak.

My apologies again guys, but life's extremely complex for me, what with miniatures design, family and everything.

First day of gaming complete - AWESOME 3k battle with me and chem vs emptyhat and shostak (my foul Xeno army was obliterated... Just as the Eldar should be ). Next up was an insane 500pt 3way game which was incredible fun! Looking forward to more carnage tomorrow!

Thanks for a great time everyone. I'm at work, still in holiday mode.. *sigh*
Special thanks to Shostak, Emptyhat and Lupus; you guys make my life worthwhile. Also brilliant paintjobs on all your armies. Next time my Stadarzki will be more painted and hopefully more Apocalypse-ish.
Photos? I have 120 photos... and none with a complete Emptyhat. He managed to evade being captured on film.. (or at least only partially).
I played 6 games; all really tense and fun. One of the more memorable moments was the special 40k Predator VS Guard game that Emptyhat devised, pitting 4 predators against 76 guardsmen, who had to escape to a base, while being hunted by respawning jungle hunter aliens. One pred died, another was injured, only 3 guardsmen escaped, one deserter threw down his lasgun (he was just forgotten about in the excitement), the rest all died to Predators and about ten died in the acid pools.

Captain Testless made it back to the bunker though. Probably the only head out there worth taking ;P
We managed to recreate a couple of film scenes as well. That one squad survivor who came out of cover challenging one of your hunt masters.
Post the rules guy. The invisibility cloak is crazy OP right now though *shakes fist* night fighting rules!

I'm sorry I couldn't make this year guys..... you have no Idea how tempted I was when Lupus offered and I had £65 in my hand that was destined for my friends 18th. I find those pictures rather staisfying Chem..... But also saddening as I really wanted to go :/ Although.... what is a good Movie without a terrible sequal... I announce the Third get together: Part Deux! Featuring.... anyone who fancies it ^.^

Such was our desire for gaming that we played into the night on both Friday and Saturday getting an extra game in each time. I had learned my lesson from last time when Dave and I had our Orks face off against Gabriel's gunline infantry guard across the vast featureless expanse of a travelodge bed so this time I hiked some terrain up (which in these photos has been added to what Chem and Gabriel provided) only to then roll horribly low for difficult terrain tests :..( I have a battle report for the battle that is shown in these pictures. You'll have to let me take a look over it for a quick edit but I'll try to have it up in a jiff. Here we go.

Ah, the infamous battle of the bed. What I want to know is where you rolled the dice, on the bedside tables?

I got seriously messed up in that 3v3 500 point game.
We used a variant of kill point rules where we recorded which player we had gained kill points from. If your kill points were evenly balanced then they were worth one point each but if you scored a bunch of kill points from one player and not the other then kill points that upset the 1:1 ratio were halved. So if I scored 3 points against Chemin and 1 against Gabriel my score would be 3. But if Gabriel scored 2 against me and 2 against Chemin he would score 4.
Of course I was only able to gain a single kill point in this game (Chemin’s Psyker).
