I agree. Even though it's your classic hallway RPG there is something satisfying about beating down orks and CSMs with a thunder hammer. I didn't find anything new or special about it though. Online is also really fun. The different armour types and ability to customise the colours is great. SaN

I really agree with SaN. Whilst it's great, there really wasn't much that was new, also it still needed some work. The one thing that REALLY annoyed me was the Valkryie windows and textures. They were very plain and the windows were just one plain colour, very lazy if you ask me. I really do love the game though

Still haven't seen too much of it, as it wasn't for me..
The female Cadian lieutenant was a bit of a change. We need a model of her, GW!

I'm on my way through the campaign atm, a female officer was kind of refreshing. And, my personal highlight of the game thusfar has to be the fact that, for the first time in a game, Lieutenant was pronounced correctly! Yes, I am THAT sad... =P Nothus

"How was the French word pronounced?"
"The proper British way."

Walrus: Naaahh, 40k just doesn't sound right in games with anything other than British accents , I've always hated the Marines from DoW II, they just don't sound right!

It was very refreshing to see imperial guard characters actually serving a significant role in the plot. Not just another marine-fest.

It's so irritating though! And I loathe the woman who is speaking over the PA system in the first few levels.
spoiler!
She also sounds like the medicae woman from the servo skull audio logs...

GW is a British product. GW developers, in the majority, are British. Therefore Imperial Gothic has a British accent! Come on, we all know that the Imperium would have crumbled centuries ago without it's tea and biscuits! Nothus

MP needs dedicated servers, more maps, and more gamemodes. A Space Hulk co-op remake would be cool. The single-player is ok, but nothing too outstanding, for better or worse.

(for some reason my "quote" button isn't working)
Walrus: "40k just isn't right without British accents. I've always hated the Marine from DoWII they just don't sound right"
I know what you mean. the Marines from DoWII sounded better, and the ones in Space Marine didn't sound too great either. I agree with you on the accents. It's a british game. So they should be british. At least the Cadians and Ultramarines. Australian, asian, russian, german...they would all work. Really, any non-American accent would work for a 40k race or planet

'I know what you mean. the Marines from DoWII sounded better,'
I think you misunderstood Aeon, I DIDN'T like the DoW II Marines, I liked the Space Marine Marines.

I think it's pretty good actually. Once you level up a fair bit you can really get into it. I'm sure that in the future more patches will be released with more game modes and extras. The Orks would be good to play as too.

I particularly liked the bit towards the end where there was an autocannon that you could use/rip of its mount. Made short work of the Blight Drones...
