@ chem ... the wheels are a pretty good size... if anything, the sm bikes are a bit big... how large are the battlewagons? and if the kromlech ones are a little smaller, it could look good in a lowered stealthier look...
the alien heads are pretty decent, they look a little evil, but i can handle that...thanks.
@ squall thanks dude, and yep, im happy to answer questions...
the purple psykic energy swirl was just made from greenstuff... after i raised the guy up on a peice of wire, i just dumped a whole bunch of gs on the base and used a tool to swirl it around till it reached his feet, took ages but was really easy.
for the warthogs, well i guess il be using a turous or velator rules from the forgeworld drop troops ruleset... know that i currently dont play and im waiting for 6th ed to come out before i re- learn the rules properly... thankfully i will be playing non competitive games with relaxed players willing to allow custom codexes and made up rules, so i may alter the rules for the turous to suit the model itself.
tommorrow i should be able to post up my salamader model, its 95% finished, just waiting for some washes to dry so i can add the weathering powders... in the meantime, im working on the last ogryn, who is a black dude with an akimbo slice styled beard...

Yeaaaahhhh..hehe...like this so much.. But how is a weapon with such a weight stabilized to do up and down moves? To move it only with hand is impossible I think..I had the same problem with an big fifty on a selfmade extension on the ringmount..(äähhmm..mean on a right one..not in plastic  ) But the tanks looks very fine at all... ;D Regards from the hydra-front.. |

Obviously the weapon has got power assist, with the one hand needed only to tell the gun which way to go.

Brilliant painting. Hmm. This thing is huge. The box is Valk sized, it carries 20 models and the wheels it comes with are bigger. I can find Ork trukk wheels from Bits and Kits, but they're very expensive and look too orky. |

This is excellent, I don't know if your familiar with the British Pathfinders but their jackal apcs are similar.
The british contractors in hurt locker spring to mind as well ; you know "Spanner Guy"

Nice stuff Ashot. Not to keen on the gunners helmet camo but appart from that great work.
My army is similar to yours in that its separate from the imperium and includes xenos, so I was wondering if you have plan on having any aliens other than the kroot and Mr. Rhino? Thanks.

okm im drunk guys so bear with me lol... just watchd my mates band the victorian sleeper dogs play, dirty metal at its best... oh yeah! @ paxole... would like to see your army, espesially as it includes xenos, you got a plog on here you can link me? as far as the list of aliens go... i got orks, beastmen, kroot , hybrid human kroot, rhinomen (need a beter name for them ) , an asari and a few taul types in the mix. @ivory... yeah i love the pmc guys in hurtlocker, i guess that much of my army will be based on that kind of look as im branching out towards non uniformed guys for much of my vets... the metal catchans will all look kinda like them i guess. ltericwatts ... i dint really think about the weapon movement when i put it together, i would have wanted it to have some movement but the way the model was constructed really made it sit in a very static position... so i just rolled with it... its something i will bear in mind when i make another similar project... but im sure thats something you think about more when dealing with real scale ... thanks everyone else who commented, i got an M8 coming now which is the same vehicle but with an armoured turret which il mount the autocannon into... because i want it to be a pair, but with two variants... pics when i get it |

Sorry mate, no plog yet but I promise when I'm finished my empire army ill get one started. Around 2-3 months work.
Hopefully we can trade some ideas because our armies are really similar (modern-ish, non imperial or chaos, includes aliens).

Beautiful, as always. I really dig the Elysian models, they have so much more of a modern military feel. That thing right there (just add a few more wheels) almost looks exactly like a Striker Armored troop carrier. I kinda wish, your models had little American flags on them. Then...if I ever played you, I could pretend they were GI Joes...KOOOOOBRAAAAAAAA!  |

An EDF rendered version of Nemesis from the first Resident Evil film. IDK why but it just fits perfectly with your force, probably comes from the same place as your mantis psyker; Some grotty lab . Awesomeness

hehe... yup... been away for quite a while... @ ivory... thats a pretty good idea... im working on a few ideas incorporating charachters from computer games... and i think a nemisis would look pretty damm awesome.. @ paxole... yeah, the quad bikes is something i will do eventually, but its not high on my 'to do ' list at the moment... i was thinking of sm bikes but the front end slit and mounted on oppersite and add a second wheel to the other side... and make two swingarms for the rear... perhaps i should knock one up some time... well its 5 in the morning and im just about to get some sleep... so im just gonna dump these pics here just to show you all im still alive... first up... another basic infantry squad nicknamed 'the sunshine crew'... they just love to train in the scorching hot eden sun and work on thier tans... sunglasses are a must for these guys!   next is a prototype for a darksider squad who will all be running / charging into battle... the legs are from kromlech...  next up is the nearly finished 'drone heavy weapon team' ... im gonna be painting the controller tommorrow if the weather permits me to get some undercoating done...  lastly is a teaser pic of my stormlord/shadowsword... none of this model is finished, but i got a little progress on it... note the reactive armour...  |

Real nice Ashot. The P90 with red dot scope and suppressor is IDEAL for specialists and even NCOs. I never liked the obligatory CC weapon and laspistol
