Ashot, just a suggestion for the landing craft apoc game: GW modeled some mines for battlefleet gothic that make work to add some realism to the board.

I just followed the pictures to your photobucket account - I assumed thay was your name  And Yes, I do cast and plan to cast the individual parts when finished! I'm sure we can sort out something - It would be a kick to see my tank in an EDF paint scheme! |

Got a few hours of work done... And I've given the beast a name - I give you: "CERBERUS" Main Battle Tank! Basic shape of turret is done - May add some armour panels to the front and side turret panels - might leave them blank, and just add them ad hoc.  Turret with bits - Still need to cook up my own commanders cupola - And make an alternate mantlet for Demolisher and Executioner variants.  ...Also a few adjustments and preparations for the casting process! AshotNINJA : I don't mean to hijack your thread - let me know and I'll move to a separate thread |

Tanks! - Coming from you - given that I'm a huge fan of your own work, that really means alot!
I'm glad you noticed the optics, both the Gunner and Command optics, along with the sharp edges on the front armour, are some of the key design points I really wanted to make.
...The main problem with this kit - is that I've got the itch to make a wheeled 8x8 Chimera based on the Piranha III - And I'll probably end up scratchbuilding a MRAP type Taurox too!

Quick update - I've built the Commanders cupola from ground up and updated the Loaders a bit - Still needs some clean-up work though... About 90% done with this build - then it will be prepared for casting! I hope to have it done by next week or so... My day-job just keeps taking up my life!!   |

As soon as I have an actual first-run cast - I can give an estimate - It should not be so bad, as I plan to use a hardfoam core on the hull (its like a brick at the moment!) Hopefully I have time to finish the mastermold and make a test-run during this week - I'll be off to sunny Spain the next two weeks - so no hobbytime  Glad you guys like it - I'm very satisfied with the end-result! |

WOHOO! I actually got some hobby time down! The initial molds are done and after a few test, I'll see if they need to be modified - but so far it looks good.  There is something rewarding in seing a model come to life - but seing its "offspring" is even cooler! -Initial estimates of non-profit cost is somewhere around $18 a piece - its a heavy tank in more than one way! shipping cost will vary. I still need to make the main gun and small bits (hatches) so we're still a few weeks away - As this project does come with certain production cost...Contributions at welcome |

Yes, but I'm not telling you - it'll destroy your mood!
Right now the model sans guns and bits, weights in at 493g - I'm going to trim and rework the main hull and maybe the tracks - hopefully I'll get the complete model below the 400g mark - that way I can ship it as a parcel under 500g which is much cheaper.

id like to propose offering you around $40 for each unit
Oh and I just realised how much the tank resembles a sherman with a abrams turret...

AshotNINJA : S&H to UK by Danish Postal Service is $24 for a parcel of 3. I can also ship the 6 together, but due to the weight, it would have to send as a package - which is $50 The Danish Postal Service are mad-expensive, but still cheaper than courrier. No family plans for the weekend - so I expect to be done with the rework/trimming and the guns. Running short on resin though - need to contact my resin pusher on monday. Thanks for taking interest in this project - and letting me post here - But PLEASE can we see some more of your awesome EDF?!?

got a malcador, minotar , astropath , dark siders finished as well as the ac130 and the mini titan got some paint on too

Quick update:
I've shaved off a good deal of weight on the hull and track sections - the turret, hull and tracks now weights around 415g - I haven´t done the gun and small parts yet, but I doubt they will break the scales.
Its still a heavy beast, but now I can ship individual tanks within the 500g mark, including box and styrene-chips as a parcel, which is somewhat cheaper.
Also done is the two top hatches for the turret. Still need to work up the main gun and other small parts - I'd like to limit the amount of bits, that I need to get from various bitz-pushers!
I'm Bingo on resin, so I need to order some more - in the wait I'll hopefully get the last 5% of this project ready for casting.

A few pictures of the recent work to keep you warm! First off is the top hatches for the Commander end Loader  Main gun (Battlecannon)  Main gun (Vanquisher) - Also shown is an old G.I.Joe gatling cannon I'll be using as a Punisher Cannon.  And lastly - The tank in all its glory!  I hope you guys like what you see! Oh and I've also ordered some PU-rigid foam resin to try out - this stuff should expand 10x its volume when hardened but still have a smooth surface - very excided to try it!! |
